Maybe we should focus on surviving longer, outlast!.
Heres my question. Is it more efficient to upgrade your sheild/and or armor than to upgrade your weapon.
That path doesn't really work any better than upgrading only your weapon. I was taught by a friend of mine who took down 4 other battleships in EVE in a Rattlesnake while they were trying to run from him that the key to victory is maximum tank/maximum gank. A balance of the two is what you ideally should be striving for. |

That's a good point. Your range and combat style will dictate any path you should take outside of frontline brawling, where the combination I mentioned serves me damn well in EVE, and would serve me better in Dust if I wasn't **** with the DS3. I'd use a mouse if I thought it would help, but it probably wouldn't. I'm pretty much a floater until more aerial vehicles come in and I can tear up the sky. |

Not many get past the Type II Heavy with 433 shield, 506 armor and a Killswitch GEK-38.
(many do, however, successfully run away)
Imagine when we get other racial Heavies. I doubt you'll see as many people easily running away from a Minmatar one. |

Even though its a Heavy suit, if there's one thing Minmatar do best, its speed. All we have right now is a Logi suit, so you all who haven't played EVE have yet to experience this, but I imagine you'll see people like xprotoman23 going exclusively MInmatar once this game hits Open Beta. And don't forget, we'll probably even have Minmatar weapons at that point, as well as Amarr laser weapons. |
