Also, when you go into man down state it would be nice if you had an indicator to show if a logistics player actually is nearby so you dont just lie there so you know it is better to respawn instead
Do you want the system improved, or have you not noticed what is in place?
Top right of screen- Says help requested each time you press button.
When downed - top center of screen says : "Stand By... Triage in Vicinity" if there is a player with a nano-injector nearby. |

The medics should have a plus sign on them so you know where they are while you wait for them to get you.
I think this would be awesome and so useful.
HK-40 wrote:Actually a plus sign on the Medics map so he can see precisely where the 'patient' is would also be very handy. The current symbol is fairly imprecise.
Edit: Very good idea OP

-The hitbox on downed teammates is way too small for the nanite injector, and makes it annoyingly tricky to position one's self correctly next to a downed player to revive them, Often times when I stand right on top of a downed teammate, I still can't see the option to revive them because of this issue.
On this note, I've noticed the spot that you need to be at in order to revive your teammate is the spot he died on, not where the body is. So if the poor sap got blown away by a HAV the spot to revive him won't be too near the body. This is incredibly counter intuitive.
Noticed this to. Its easy if you see them fall, but the ones blown away or on the side of a hill are almost impossible to get to.
And to add to the thread suggestion. I think it should go a step further and allow the nearby Logis to confirm that they are coming to revive. When the fallen player presses the help button all of the Logis in reasonable distance will get a prompt to respond. The logi can then acknowledge or deny. This would also allow the fallen player to know if someone is coming or not? Not sure if thats possible or not, but would be a cool feature I think. |
