Greetings Folks-
I have been playing the Beta for about a week know, and slowly becoming more familiar with things.
I am sure there are probably things that I should know, but don't.
Please post things that you think are helpful, but people might not know.
thanks in advance.

(Edit: I'm retracting all of my questions and starting a new thread because whet I responded with didn't fit the intent of this one...)
Best advise I got so far: Get fit in militia gear at least right off the bat. |

Is there anything like EvE Fitting Tool (EFT) for DUST yet?
Will you be able to transfer ISK or Aurem to DUST chars from EvE?
What skills should you have trained up to pilot a tank?
What are skill clusters or injections that I see on the market? What will they do?
Is there going to be a skill wipe when the game "officially" launches?
Best advise I got so far: Get fit in militia gear at least right off the bat.
Answered 1.
Hasn't been said, but everybody assumes so.
All skills related to vehicle shield/armor + All skills related to whatever turrets you want to use. All skills related to getting better shields/armor/resists/DCU's (Damage control Units) All skills related to Vehicle PG/CPU + and the mods for them.
Don't know.
There is one very soon, Nothin has stated both that there will and will not be. I confronted him about it last night, he says, he spoke too soon, and there will be one, he'll get CmdrWang to make a sticky here when it's decided. |

1) Voice chat is 'off' by default. turn it on in the options menu. 2)Only buy 1 of each militia item, 3)Try all the militia weapons until you find the 1 you like, & focus your skills points on that. 4)Stay focused on a single role at first, You will only waste SP's if you try to do too much 5)Use a mic, & join a squad of more experienced players. If you are looking to join up in squad game play join the LFSquad channel in your chat.
Never shoot at the MCC, you'll do nothing to it.
Take your time to learn about all the different items on the market and figure out what you like/don't like then figure out the fitting you want, but I'd recommend starting out with good defensive bonuses and unless you can't aim for the head then please stay away from the damage modifier, imo a damage control will likely be better for you. |

Push to Talk. Makes it so you have to push Left on the D-Pad to speak. |

Having trouble fitting an item because CPU or Grid is capped? Train Electronics and Engineering. Have those Maxed? Look into weapons upgrades skills for CPU and shield/armor skills for Grid. It's cheaper than using a higher tier suit, can cost less SP. And it works for nearly every fit you have. |

Posted this in my 'How I play my Role' thread:
Drop uplinks: when you toss them on the ground mercs spawning there will be facing in the same direction you are when you dropped it. DO NOT toss these into a dark corner! Back into the dark corner and drop it new guys will be seeing what you see when you drop it!
Dead Recon: everything you are seeing, hearing or sensing while you lay there during bleed out is helping your team. All that data gets put onto the map. We can see the enemy position and movement-plus, you respawn timer gets shortened by the number of seconds you lay there waiting, watching and bleeding for your team
