Wait, you honestly think that means something? You realize the inventory of Dust items has been having stuff added and removed since they first integrated the server? Its very unlikely to mean anything. |

As a dedicated Squad Leader in Zion TCD I was extremely looking forward to using them, as well as their more controversial modules like the Anti-Regen (prevents enemy shields from regenerating) and the Anti-RoF (reduces enemy weapon rate of fire).
Also, hit detection is going to be fixed next build as they're introducing some kind of mystical system that calculates the lag into the hit detection =P Actually, I'd think this is a sign that they might be giving them a less idiotic name. Command Suit? Cool. Crusader Suit? Uhhhhhh... In any case, I would imagine all the aoe de-buff abilities would be on timers and have cooldowns just like vehicle modules. I really doubt they would ever remove the idea of a "command" suit, given that's one feature most of us agree is needed, and its been working damn well for EVE Online all these years. |

How outraged should I be right now, out of 10? your answer s blue[/b[ or possibly [b]goldenrod just let me down another couple Pangalactic Gargleblasters and I'll figure it out On topicSounds like it may not get into the next build, if it's not ready yet that's all to the good but I'm quite interested to see how it changes gameplay with those suits (and skills) in game. My 0.02 ISK Cross All the female test suits still show, so we might be seeing those. |

Also, hit detection is going to be fixed next build as they're introducing some kind of mystical system that calculates the lag into the hit detection =P Its called time dilation and it works wonders in eve to combat lag i n large scale battles. They're not going to implement Time Dilation in Dust 514 - I promise you. This is more internal coding, CCP is not going to shoot itself in the foot by slowing **** down for the already ADHD FPS players. Why not with squad modules on "command" suits ? Something that slow speed of an ennemie around. No, no, you guys are looking at this wrong. Time Dilation works for EVE because of it's gameplay style. That doesn't work for an FPS that requires faster reflexes to succeed.
What they're talking about is having your latency and your target's latency factored into the server-side hit calculations in order to ensure that lag-spikes don't throw off your aim.
Also, suit modules that have to be used to make the game function properly? I'm guessing that's one of those that sounds better in your head before you type it out. |

Wasn't trying to imply you were stupid, because I type things that sound better in my head just like everyone else. Also, I think you're going to find that the next build performs a lot better on the shooting side of things. |
