I am not worried about dying in battle. I just think, the game should have a deathmatch. When you die in game... You have that small, (*&% I HAVE TO buy more dropsuits. I only buy a few at a time... An it gets real tedious and condescending to need to STOP and buy some more dropsuits. The deathmatch will be a more instantaneous, quick gameplay... You wont have to constantly get aggravated from losing those points.

@Thomas COD sucks... Battlefield is better but I think Battlefield should have a Deathmatch... Not just squad DM or Team Deathmatch.

@Anyone else who gots a problem with understanding the word condescending. I posted a link to merriam-webster dictionary. Feel free to understand its definition or attempt to at least. If Merriam-webster can't help you, I fear no one can.
They also have a children dictionary, as well.

I think what you're talking about is battles in high security (low risk space) games where you can jump into battles with Instant Battle matchmaking, but those are still contracts from NPCs. You might be right, but please link your source. As far as I know, Gladiator Arena was the only thing being announced which non-contract battles will happen. That being said, i want a deathmatch mode, as well as a variety of crazy modes that don't necessarily fit with contracts. I don't think those have a place lore-wise until we can fight for sport in Gladiator Arena though (coming 2013).

The Deathmatch FFA with instant jump-ins on the other hand will come with the gladiator update.

How can you look up the definition, yet not notice you are the one using the word completely wrong? You don't know what demean means either facepalm If you don't know how to use a word its fine with me; English isn't my first language, so it might not be yours either, but to be so rude and confident about your incorrect knowledge is pretty silly. In the interview you linked, they said contracts can be from computer controlled corporation (NPC corporation) for simple "pick up and play", or player/EVE corps. There was no mention of battles without contracts.

Gotta be ninja to have that style. Stay on topic. If you don't want to lose money, don't use up more than you'll make in the battle. Example: If you use a 20k fit, and die 2 times, then you lose 40k. If the battle gives you 100k reward however, you make a net gain of 60k (100k - 40k = 60k). Just make sure your losses don't surpass your gains. You can also just use militia gear, and starter fits. Militia gear won't be unlimited use for long, but they will be so cheap that you will still be able to afford them with no problem even if you do extremely terribly. The starter fits will always be unlimited.

CCP should focus on what they are currently doing at the moment and making the game unique maybe not original but at least unique this is after all a Team based game not free for all team based PVP. i for one don't mind lossing items as long as they can be replaced after a few matches which isn't a big of a deal specially when you play at certain peak hours like in the afternoon/night time (happy hour Sorta speak kicks in then) that way you can make good SP and ISK .

More advanced modes like what TF2 has or Unreal Tournament has end up being pretty popular by comparison. Plus, DM has a pretty major random chance component to it, and with deaths costing you money, I think most people would avoid it like the plague. Imagine if every time you spawn in a game, it's like spawning in Ambush, only you're 2x as likely to spawn in front of guys trying to kill you.

It says it right there on the page that you linked, and you don't see it even though you're the one who linked it? This is the definition you linked: "to descend to a less formal or dignified level" (like i said) "to assume an air of superiority" (exemplified by looking/talking down to someone, like GarryKE said) No mention of "repeating", or "repetitive". I previously told you it was to stoop to someone else's level, and look at the synonyms on the page you listed: "Synonyms: deign, stoop" Consider the components of the word condescend.
