I personally think that whatever improvements to the actual game play are introduced in the next build,it really won't mean squat if we have the same issues with disconnections, hard crashes and freezes, the "invalid" bug,and all of the other host of glitches that are ubiquitous in this build.
I think that if CCP doesn't get a handle on the connectivity issues, and the other bugs in the game,I know personally for me,I will be playing less of the next build that I am of this one, which is already significantly less than the last build.I can easily see that a good amount of other testers won't put up with much of it either.
Fingers crossed that CCP gets it worked out.
to be honest i think this build is stable i think the problems with the move to SiSi just made it worse. if you happened to be on those 3 days right before the last wipe you would of felt that ccp removed all lag and framerate issues. it was probably the most flawless build before the move and compared to the past 2-3. |

I think part of the problem is that the server they were originally were testing Dust on was set up for just that purpose. Singularity was designed as the test server for EvE originally. Also it doesn't have a bunch of nodes to run it. On top of that with Dust getting moved it added another 2000+ people when normally the average amount of people on singularity was a few hundred at most.
yea, plus hardware transfers come with their own problems especially when data was optimized so well for the tech it ran on, ive just been impressed with the examples of how CCP can fix lag rather quickly compared to how devs in MAG just plainly gave up. im not worried though i expect after the new download there will be surprises lying around for the first couple of days. :) |
