It would do wonders for your image if you'd drop the members that do nothing but roll tanks, and more recently just sit around whining about them. I don't think people hate STB, so much as they hate seeing them in tanks nonstop.

It looks bad when you aimlessly bump your thread. When one person writes 5 posts in a row, it looks like you're just wh0rinng for attention. I think this is where all the hate comes from. Boasting about how many threads are made because of STB doesn't look too good either. With the way this EvE world sounds like, you can't be over confident or over weak. You seem to be taking the over confident side. The STB thread should have stopped 50 pages ago. Rest assured that we are all aware of your presence. Cool bunch of people if you get to know them though.

I got no problem with STB whatsoever. Bunch of dudes who know how to win through team work is what I see. Usually its the lone wolf f***ing rambos who have a problem with STB.
So from me to STB, peace.

My one issue with STB EV Gravity and Hive mind as a whole is there assumption that there the best, when clearly there average player base is blow par. You guys take in anybody good or bad, and expect people to believe your a top clan.

Make some good KDR requirements and maybe iLL consider it.

Why would you want to curb an established reputation as a merc corp? Who gives a rats hind end if people hate? Most that do can't fight their way out of a wet paper bag, and if so long as you win within the confines of the game mechanics an EULA, screw 'em.

I've fought you guys many times during the course of this beta and many times I've had my a$$ handed to me on a plate......very fairly and tastefully, good team work and good tactics from what I've seen of you guys so far.

ya they are but u see others take the easy route and just open the floodgates and inv anyone with a pulse and thumbs to join.
whereas ive always looked at players potential, some may not be as good as others but i look into their potential to improve and those are the players i tend to recruit along with the great ones. I wont sacrifice the standards and beliefs of my clan just to become another zerg army with 490 scrubs who can barely put down randoms with only like 10 good players.

Ill gladly take the harder route and search for those talented and rough diamonds to bring into my ranks and train them

As I have made it known, I can't stand you guys. There is no amount of PR that you can do that will ever change my mind. I also came from MAG and I started on SVER when the game launched. That got boring and I vetted through. MAG died and here I am today.

At first when I saw you guys I thought it was a gimmick. Why would anyone carry over anything from MAG when that game committed suicide? So, I watched you on the forums and I watched you recruit players that I had played with. What I saw was a reemergence of SVER zerg-rush style tactics and, like the man said earlier, EZ-Moders/Exploiter play-style. I realized it wasn't a gimmick, you were actually trying to become the SVER MAG vet sanctuary.

I didn't have a problem with you until I played one game were entire squad of you guys were snipers. I detest players that don't know their role and in this game your entire squad of snipers didn't know their role. I can't team kill but I got lucky and switched teams. I hunted that squad the whole game. Shortly thereafter, I saw on the forums all the posts and propagation of this idea that if people don't like you than you must be pretty awesome. Your corps behavior reminded me of 4chan idiots and I am still watching that kind of mentality spill into this game via your players.

This thread is a perfect example of what I am talking about. You have posted replies and I can't decipher what it is you are trying to say because you can't spell (even though there is a spell check so I have concluded it must be because of laziness) and the rest of the your members that post have the same problem or just post nonsense as everyone likes each other.

You want to fix your image? Change the name, dump the idiots, and try to act like you didn't just discover 4chan... but then you wouldn't be STb would you?

This is your biggest problem of all STB, Your horrible, horrible forum posting along with the stupid names, Why is STB needed in your tags? It will be on your corp ticker next build. Why is EV needed? They are nobody and when they failcascade you'll be stuck with a reminder of EV in your user name for the rest of your Dust career, far after EV have been forgotten about and people will just think it's some stupid random letters on the end of your user name.


The forum chest beating is tolerated and expected so it hardly effects your image, you just need to get better at it and how you do it need's to improve.

Don't let idiots post on the forums unless it's well known that all STB members DO NOT speak for STB and are only voicing their own opinions so they get ridiculed personally and not the whole corp is looked down on. Have a small, core group of people who CAN voice STB's opinions on things formally on the forums but make sure they are educated and can spell, someone like Deadpool who is respected and knows how to write, not someone like the mongaloid 14 year old caffeine addict that posted above me.

Don't post drunk, Slosh OPs are normal for EVE and will be for Dust, but don't forum post, you'll dig yourself a hole every single time and look like a ******* muppet the following day. Don't take the bait when you get flamed on the forums, it will generate you much, much more hatred because you're ignoring the idiots which gives you better coverage in new eden and more people complain about you, but you keep your respect and dignity in tact by not getting into flame wars, by all means, troll them and make them look even more stupid than they already are, but you all need to learn to troll correctly first.
