I just counted up the number of tank threads on the first three pages of the forums and came up with 17 out of 65. That's 26% of people that can't get over the fact their armored thrones can't go around being invincible anymore. Seriously people, there are way more topics to be talking about, to improve the overall quality of this game.
I, for one, think CCP need to stop dicking around trying to adjust the game and make it perfectly balanced until they make the game 100% playable. Fix the f*cking invalid fittings, infinite loading screens, constant "the server is full" messages, poor hit detection, and overall lag of the game, THEN do your fine tweaking.
I could care less if a tank is running across the battlefield unimpeded if I can't even get into the game in the first place. |

Ok, the tank VS av thing was a recent hotfix. Ofc ppl are gonna be up in arms, no pun. Maybe, JUST MAYBE, next build, most if not all these problems should be addressed...hopefully. I have faith in my FAVORITE game maker....only if it is 2 games they make lol |

Maybe, but I'm not holding any hopes that they are. Not any longer. The more I learn here, the more convinced I am that this game is doomed to become yet another cod clone.
Still hoping for a miracle though. |

At what point did you forget you-Śre playing a beta? Another Cod clone? Are you drunk or something? This game is MILES ahead of mindless shooters like COD. Common... Everyone with eyes can see this.
You need to go outside for some fresh air. Perhaps turn off your PS3 for a few days and relax. You-Śre talking nonsense dude.

It is still ahead of mindless games like cod, but currently every hotfix and patch keeps getting us closer and closer to becoming a cod clone. |

All you had to do was slap on the vehicle-specific repper and go hoover up free SP by the bucketload! Now... well, what are you going to do, try and run over and Rez people who ignore the Logi Warning and hit Respawn immediately?

It's not miles ahead of CoD. This elitist nonsense is really jarring...You can say what you like about CoD games but the simple fact is, they have the core gameplay absolutely NAILED to the wall. The gun mechanics are top drawer and the map design, barring a few stinkers, is usually great.
Not to mention the fluidity, speed and fun factor. There's a reason there are thousands upon thousands of people on the CoD servers night after night. CCP would do well to look at some of the reasons for that. Can you imagine a game with the RPG depth of Dust and the core mechanics of CoD? It would be UNSTOPPABLE.
I don't even like CoD games very much and even I can see that it's a success for a reason.

People do realize that this is a beta right? This is the time for fine-tuning and fixing connection issues etc.. It sucks that many of the problems are still there(lag, hit-detection etc..) but this isn't a game thats been released yet, they are still working on it. They will get there, CCP is working hard on everything people are worried about I'm sure. Just give it some time! |

Quite right, surely the number one thing people should be complaining about is the fact this game / beta is virtually unplayable.
After 9 months of this beta so far to be in this state is ridiculous. |
