In less than an hour, Goons and allies are forming a massive fleet to go out and kill anyone who isn't in the fleet be they enemy or ally, in tribute to their late Head Diplomat.

I have never played EVE and what is this?
It's like the dude is controlling some multiple colored floating space squares with his massive GUI that almost has as many things to click as European universe strategy game but not quite. |

when you have over 900 ships on screen we typicaly go to tactical view to not kill our video cards |

That's going to be a lot easier this winter after they rebalance all the T1 Frigates and Cruisers. Not to mention that the first ships to be able to provide Orbital Strikes are going to be destroyers, meaning that you can be in the game for only 24 hours or so and already be taking OS contracts from Dust players, making that yet another starter profession. |
