Why is it that all the anti-tank whiners who just had their weapons seriously buffed, while tanks were made useless, feel the need to rub it in, with salt?
You never saw tank drivers posting threads about how they were pawning infantry and how good it made them feel. Yet now, and even before, AV players were doing just that, forgetting they were negating their own whines about OP tanks, when they brag about multiple solo tank kills.
Are anti-tank whiners really that shallow, and ... small, that they have to overcompensate? |

Oh and because they're now moaning because a full Proto tank isnt 10*better than a militia one... Kinda like dropsuits. |

If it makes you feel any better, I could mention that we AR-Assault builds are having fun time popping out these swarmers and forge-gunners (There are more then ever!). When you are in a tank, seek us out and you just might survive longer. |

no, just no. looking at posts here, there were some that adapted, and learned to play, the rest went to the IRC Anti-Tank Whine fest forum (aka #DUST514.beta) and shitstormed anyone who dared to speak in favour of tanks, and the whiners got their way. I guess CCP just got fed up with the noise and caved into it |

Most of the tankers thought they were god's gift to gaming. It's nice seeing them run around like headless chickens. Nothing like killing those tankers who spent every single game in their ZoMGWTFPWNZOR heavy suits. Oh yeah the IRC guys who have all the power in the world  Instead of bitching about it why not join in? Contrary to popular belief people in the IRC spoke for and against the tank nerf. |

Your problem is thinking that this change was because of people in IRC "complaining". CCP knows what they're doing, they know what's coming down the line, and how it will interact with the many more items that are coming onto the market, which likely won't be the last. This is a very intricate process, balancing such customizable vehicles against foot soldiers and all other kinds of vehicles.
They're tweaking and testing so they can build a stronger foundation for this game. Coming here and whining about it doesn't change anything, never has and never will, unless it's actually a legitimate issue. Post numbers and specific examples, and consider using the feedback forum for it. |

tanker bragged to me about getting 30/0 in a dev vs players game the other day, its epic irony that your tanks have been nerfed to hell, however some brave souls aka not the usual coward tankers who fear any sort of opposition have been calling in tanks on the AU server, getting kills and also SHOCK Fing Horror getting killed, working as intended!
tanks were never meant to be invincible wtfpwnage mobiles and you know it, stop acting so indignant that they have been fixed. |

Having tank drivers such as 843 bob go 45/0 while I go 29/8? When I didn't use a tank and he did the whole match and my grenades and bullets didn't even scratch his tank , it was like I had to flee like ants do when they see a shoe come at them |

Funny how HAV drivers never said anything about how HAVs needed to be adjusted a bit to reduce their overall effectiveness but now after this patch they are all very active. I guess I'd be upset if the AR was weakened (just like the breach ARs and SMGs were) but I'd probably just switch to a different tactic (using the assault variants) instead of complaining. |

Ccp wants the tank to be poweul, but not to extent that it does solo camping. I like the new change. But, it's only temporary. They wanted to see how it goes well once they added installations and other anti vehicle weaponry. Vehicles are still powerful in numbers. Also, the gameplay has more actions now.

Tanks really are only really effective for spawn killing and hillside sniping. I personally don't use tanks but I'd say they are only hard to destroy when you are alone or with maybe on other teammate. If you get 4 or 5 people together you can take one out fairly easily. I think they are pretty balanced right now |
