I'm sorry, Icy Tiger, but I have to disagree with you. The prices should not be lowered at all. As for the suggestion of making the operator soley the driver instead of driver/operator and tank gunner all-in-one -- I find that to be somewhat promising. You do not necessarily see operators and commanders piloting or gunning their own tanks. So why not now? This is why most tanks have a crew of four members. Maybe this should be looked into and tested as a plausible solution. People will complain naturally over any and everything, but it does not mean it was not best, or what was good for the whole. |

Omg you just made me realize, with this change, a full squad could fit into a tank ^_^
That would be pretty awsome actually. Better yet if instead of just relying on dropships we could Dusters could get a HAPC (Heavily Armored Personel Carrier) which has the body of a heavily armored vehicle, but elongated for multiple personel. Sort of like a mobile command center. You could even put a CRU (Clone Reanimation Unit) inside of the HAPC and it would make sense. I think the dropships are great for rapid deployment deep into enemy lines, but a HAPC could have it's uses to as breach vehicle and assault support. Instead of being armed with a main cannon like HAV's (Heavy Attack Vehicle) it would instead be primarily armed with a support turret, or some form of anti-personel dispersers for close quarter combat, and defense. Relying more on it's armor and shielding as a transport for ground infantry. Considering that LAV (Light Attack Vehicle) has it's own role this is not a bad idea.
Edit:
It does not even have to be a heavily armored personel carrier. Just a normal APC (Armored Personel Carrier) would be a great addition. |
