Current tank posts aren't providing any intelligent debate, so let's move on. Let's talk about what I think will be the next flavor of the... weakest!

I would ask the first person that reply to this post to answer this question.
How does Cinder's TY-5 Breach Scrambler Pistol (123.2 base damage) do 637.56 damage per shot? The catch is, he doesn't have a single damage modifier equipped! |

Scrambler pistols have 450% head shot efficiency at close range to everyone, body shots are 120% efficiency. The high damage and low rate of fire scrambler pistols have great opportunity to one shot any militia scout, assault, or logi with great ease. |

Also another problem is that shield damage efficiency seems to be over writing the reduced efficiency to armor because they over lap.
So you effectively to more damage to an enemy with 1HP left in shield than you would to one who's shields are completely depleted.
That's a serious bug IMO that needs ironing out before laser rifles come into play. |

I'm an assault guy with all shield/armor increases at level 4 or 5. Quite honestly, when a guy comes at me with an assault rifle i have no concerns. If one comes at me with a pistol right off the bat, I worry. That usually means he's good with it and i'm in trouble. The pistols are extremely fierce in the right hands. |

Title was a play on words, "Flavor of the week" look it up.
People find trends such as the recent "tanks are over powered" concept. Either they start using a new found trend, or scream for a nerf. A few things come to mind that will eventually receive the same outrage by people who feel they are at a disadvantage for whatever reason.
My guess is the next major outrage will be people using sidearms that one shot other players. |
