The game had escalated in a tank fest, were there other way to fix this? Yeah of course! But this was the fastest and now the game is back to a state where we can test all the neat infantry stuff again. This is a beta test... nothing here is set in stone. |

Yup, this Hotfix was a screw up. 1 Soldier should not be able to take out a Gunnlogi just by himself (I was the that destroyed the tank) |

Again, a lot of this would be fixed by separating the driver and the gunner, because then all the arguments about HAVs being an easy ticket to killstreaks would be invalidated. With most of us going into matches in squads now, the issue of having some random as your gunner isn't an issue anymore, and a function to squad-lock vehicles would remove that danger entirely.
The turrets traverse slower now, and that's a major issue for HAV operators due to the fact that they have to manage motion and aiming at the same time, and the faster turret traversal made this possible. However, if you had separate seats for these functions the gunner could focus solely on that, allowing the tank to be more mobile since the driver no longer has to worry about moving to compliment his own aim.
Effectively, doing this would nerf and buff them at the same time. The would now require at least two people to be able to get anything done, but now with a gunner and driver who worked together, they could still be a formidable force. However, they would no longer be so driven by a single player. Besides, the driver would then be getting assist points for three turrets on a vehicle that we all no racks up kills very efficiently, meaning he wouldn't be missing out on much on that front. |

Anyway um yea this whole things a mess. So many peeps came up with so many great ideas and this is what you give us ?
I mean whats wrong with adjusting things one bit at a time. Ow no lets just do a whole bunch of things at once lol CCP shanghai you failed in this but hey maybe its just that your spending more time on the next build and you already know this one is awful and ya already got it all balanced for us at the end of the month ??

Anyway seems to me your tank nerf showed no finesse.
