So, from my experience, i am one of the few using the Burst Assault Rifles. I personally love that gun. Its fast, accurate, and rather powerful.
Anyone have their own opinion on the gun?
And which ARs do you prefer? |

The prototype burst assault rifle is a fantastic piece of weaponry. Once the skills for the assault rifles are close to level 5, it becomes such a good weapon to bring to battle. Accurate and deadly. Love it.

By principle, a fan of the single shot, but I fluctuate. I just like having quality over quantity.  The burst rifle is good too.
(Quality of my already poor aim, that is.) |

Have you been taking a peep at my Dropsuit fittings? Lol. Nah but that is seriously the best but I forget that I even have a SMG when I'm in the heat of battle. I've just been reloading lol!

You know what they say. great minds think alike. And what is greater of a mind than a Gallente Fed. warrior? Exactly!
And the SMG is only for close combat warfare, 1v1. Otherwise, bring out the sweet stuff and blow 'em sky high!

I only own Locus right now but you can bet I'll get some when the time comes. Something has got to keep those pesky Caldari vehicles out of commission. |

I got lucky. I salvaged around 20 of them when i first started out, and keep getting more every so often. Saves me a lot when it comes to restocking my suit.

I use to use breach assault rifles before they were nerfed. I now only use the regular assault rifle. |

I've tried and tried it the previous build to use the Burst AR,but I just can't do it.
I haven't used it in this build,but I loved the Duvolle AR(prototype) most.I still HATE the Breach ARs.I do like the Tactical ARs.It's basically a pistol with more stability and ammo. |

I like semi autos (tactical) in most games but seems odd in this one maybe it's just the sound ,I know it hits hard just dosn't sound or feel like it at the moment |

Imagine a 3 shot burst against a fully armoured heavy! At least with 7-shot you get to live a little longer before he mows you down with his weapon of choice. |

You're assuming that all 7 shots hit. With 3 shots you have more control. Oh and I've tested it, you have to wait until all 7 shots are finished before you can fire again. That's a very bad thing. |

Started using the burst AR last few days an i think its my new fav weapon. Dont see alot of people using it though not sure why its a great AR. If u can keep ur distance u can pick people off easy gets rough up close though especially when people jump around but i'll just pull out my smg for them. An i dont mind the 7 shot burst as long as u can aim it tears people apart np. |

Totally love the Burst ARs, currently using a Gorewreck til I've unlocked Proto ARs, then will move to the Allotek. I kill most people in two bursts and it's pretty epic. I mean, the firerate is extraordinary on those ones. It takes me about a second to fire two bursts. (If I tap R1, not hold) |

The byurst is very good indeed at range or in any situation with support. I've really tried to use it and I had some good games with it.
I still fall back on the GEK or Duvolle "normal" ARs simply due to the fact that thei're good in all situations. Not as good at range, not so precise and deadly, but they're a lot better in CQC when the lags starts to kick in. |

I agree with your choice of weapon. But I do think Tactical ARs are the better. They force you to conserve ammo. Even if you were to 'waste' and entire clip, you would have only used half of the bullets in the magazine of another AR.
I'm too impatient for that though. I prefer automatic ARs because it lets me get into the thick of battle. I think people freak out more when they're constantly being hit as opposed to a single powerful shot. I don't lose my cool if I get hit by a sniper round. I'll forget everything but "RUNRUNRUN" if I'm getting pounded by an HMG though. |

Right now, it's my preferred weapon as a logi- when I have 1 weapon slot, I can't afford to have a weapon with a major weakness.
Once I get my scrambler pistol operation level up more however, I'm going to try out the tactical scrambler pistols I got from salvage. |

I hope not there is nathing really wrong with it. Only ARs that need to be fixd really is maybe tac so mod controllers dont work with it n buff the breach a bit so its usefull again. |

Problem with the burst AR is that it has no ammo compared to the other 2. Its damage is fine but its simply outclassed by the magazines of the other types (minus the lolbreach) |

i run with scrambler pistols.. theyre awesome if u spec into em and get the bigger clip, but the ammo cap is so frkn small that u run out after like 2 kills unless ur landing the incredible scrambler headshots all the time |
