I see that bloodline and your preferred class makes you start off with different skills, but if I wanted to completely change everything it seems like it would only take a days worth of grinding or so. Is your choice of race/bloodline/class going to make a much bigger difference in the future? |

Probably in regards to wars/conflicts between the different races. I don't see Minmatars rushing to defend the Smart anytime soon. |

When all the features, skills, and items are available, it will make an impact. When you start Amarr on EVE, you can use Amarr frigates, lasers, and a few other Amarr things. Where as if you start Minmitar, you use Minmitar frigates, projectile weapons (I believe), and a few other Minmitar things.
It doesn't have a -massive- impact, but it helps with the early skills, lessens the work load a little bit. |

in the future youll be given the option to edit your clone's apperance, your race and blood line determins your inital apperance and bone structure, you could circumvent most of it creatively except the asian and non asian races. |

at the current state it doesnt matter. But maybe in the future it does. Probably you will need to spend more ISK/SP for stuff that is from other races. Like if you are caldari you have to pay more for gallante stuff etc. Well im gonna wait and see what happends. |

Once upon a time, Eve Online players use to flock more towards Caldari because of the bonuses given for Learning Skills. Unfortunately this had the side effect of causing most players to flock towards Caldari and very little going towards populating other races such the Amarr, Minmatar, and Gallente. Not only that, but trial users were increasingly frustrated with the fact that they would have to spent much of their free trial time training up Learning Skills just to effectively train other skills for needed ships and weapons.
Today, those Learning Skill Books no longer exist (SP was reimbursed accordingly).
At this point, just like in Eve Online, Dust 514's race and bloodlines are just for role playing sake. You are not forced to stick with one set of skills that one race has. If you are Minmatar and want to use Gallente technology, then you can train up to those skill sets from the Gallente race. |

It also affects starting location, but your actions set standings with empires. So, it is possible to be minmatar fighting for amarr if player wants to do that. They just better switch sides before they kill to many amarr, not easy to fix negative standings from working against a faction. |
