Thanks GM Unicorn, i appreciate this post a lot as i'm sure others do.
For those mentioning European soldiers etc, I'm English, Typically i'm anti american when it comes to politics and things like that but this was a little close to home for me as i was talking to last night before this happened.
As people have mentioned, VR was a non-combatant and this shouldn't have happened. |

Lets not argue over this guys. If CCP do something other than the guest dev blog they have announced it will be something for New Eden, they won't do something in dust and something in EVE i wouldn't think. |

I honestly don't understand the GSF hate, Message me in game because i'd love to show you guys the other side of the fence and that GSF is honestly the best alliance out there.
Vile Rat's wife is understandably upset by the situation but she's also very grateful of the support she's getting from our little gaming community in New Eden. |

Not sure off the top of my head, it's not a forum posting one, He didn't play much dust, he just gave it ago when he first got access and decided it wasnt for him. |

Calm down, I know what it feels like to lose someone close to you but he has a point, there's no logical reason to honor one without honoring all. That would make you feel better but for all other friends of deceased Eve players it would become an outrage of a jita-burning proportion. How many of those other players did as much for EVE as VR did though? He helped forge the game into what it is today. I very, very much doubt even 1% of those other players have any impact on EVE in any significant way, let alone the level of impact VR had, he was also on the CSM and got to know the DEV's etc personally, no matter how you look at it, nobody did as much for the game as he did and died in the way he did or did as much for your country as he did.
That's the why something should be done, his EVE work, his real live work and the impact he had on New Eden. |
