You need to think about this. Us poor saps that are losing badly need to be able to call orbital strikes. Otherwise the rich keep getting richer (the current tank problem). Let the saps wiht the crappy squads call strikes also. If you are poorly skilled and poorly equipped...dont make it so you can never get a strike for your team.

Phantom Whisper Crux Special Tasks Group Gallente Federation 4	Posted - 2012.09.12 15:51:00 - [8] - Quote thanks for the tip, someone said the "tank problem", and i agree the tanks are over powered cause they got massive health and shield upgradesn also if they got someone riding in it with a repair tool, but i have seen people take out tanks full health in a matter of seconds, so mabey we just need some tips on tank busting, so if your the only person in your squad con you not earn enouph points to use orbitial strike? havent seen it done yet, mabey they should lower the amount of war points, then again that would still benefit the elie squads more and they might over use it, so mabey lower war point amount, but put a limit on how many a squad can do a match

Whenever you do kill someone, hack an objective etc, you get that +50 or +100 notification flashing on your screen. Those are your earned warpoints.

If you have a good squad it's not unusual to get 2-3 so the WP cost is actually pretty low which make me think other more powerful OB's will require more WP's.

And successfully killing the target set by the SC does give extra warpoints if I recall. I'm not quite sure how the Warpoints are given for successfully defending an objective set by the SC.

So you get 75 points for a kill rather than 50 but the squad commander also gets 25 points so every kill in the area nets 100% extra points for the squad towards an OB.

It was the best match I have played so far though, I actually managed to kill people and the entire time both teams were +/- ~2 kills from taking the lead. it was quite intense! It's a shame all matches aren't like that, usually the scores are quite lopsided because one team has 4 tanks on the battlefield and the other can't seem to do anything to stop them. I am not sure how often I end up being the squad leader, but I sure would like to get the orbital strike more often.

I've already had at least three notifications that my squad is strike-capable in less than one week of playing, although the Squad commander never seems to utilize them.
