2 snipers. 2 shots. 2 kills. We pressed the trigger at the same time and we killed each other. Imagine the look on our faces :D Is this supposed to happen? Is it good? Is it bad?

One of you must have used a Charged Sniper Rifle. Since the trigger needs to be released in order to fire, the Charge Sniper Rifle will fire as soon as you die because your dead body will let go of the trigger. |

I was using the militia one, don't know what he was using since I was too busy laughing my ass off than to look at the kill log :P
Actually, my kill was second to his. I saw the death cam first then saw the +50 text. |

Ther is a delay from when you fire to when the bullet hits
You see the flash then a second later or so you get hit or it zips passed you so yea it can be easy done |

I had a few time when I shot and 3 seconds later the bullet finally got to him |

Not that I've noticed. Whether someone is half a km away or right in front of me, once I pull the trigger they get hit. If there is any travel time at all, it is insignificant. But it's certainly not measured in seconds. |

there is no real delay as far as mechanics go its just the lag sometimes |

I was flying around trying to take out a Sica and we lost sight of it. While looking around my gunner spotted three chevrons next to each other. He put a missile down range and took out three snipers with it. Our favorite kill ever.
We found and killed the Sica shortly thereafter, too. Would've gotten a Gunnlogi, but we disconnected. |

If there is a bullet delay it would be short. Sniper rifle fires at 3,500m/s, so 350m shoot is 1/10 of a second delay. Very long range shoots last build with sagaris rail seemed to have a slight delay, and moving rail projectile. Lag still causes nearly all need to leadshot, travel time is fast enough to ignore most of time.
My guess is energy weapons hit scan, hybrid very fast moving object without drop, projectile travel time and bullet drop(smg may not be implemented yet from comments I've read, won't be very noticeable anyway) |
