Here's what's wrong with the game. #1. Make a mode where players don't have red icons above their head. Some people like to sneak around the map. #2. Lower the amount of rounds it takes to kill an enemy. Games that take forever to kill die on release i.e. Brink. #3. Add more objects on the maps. There is no foliage or rocks to hide behind and maneuver cover to cover. -áIt feels like we're playing in a vacuum at times. #4. Increase speed of reloading. Standing there reloading for two seconds is fun for no one. Now I have to dance around like an idiot while I'm being shot and I'm trying to reload without accidentally canceling the reload and having to start the long animation again. #5. Make HAVs a little less deadly and a little less armored. One guy in a tank going 27&1 is not fun. It's not funny. Want more advice? I've got more.

#1: i Agree #2: not much of a problem as sometimes you have to shoot heavies which can take alot of bullets and other time you shoot scouts which don't take many, just depends on the kit the other guy is using really #3: i've never thought there wasn't enough cover #4: Never though as a problem #5: Use Anti-Vehicle weapons. |

Read around a little bit. If you did you'd probably know that you only get an indicator when you've been spotted. You'd also know that cloaking devices are coming in a future build along with a HAV nerf.
If that's not enough for you then DUST may not be the game for you. Have fun with Call of Duty. |

Oh man, he's got an iPhone. I don't know, guys. Maybe we were wrong all along. Maybe this game is doomed from the start, and we have just been kidding ourselves.
I agree on #3 wholeheartedly, and I need to play more before I can pass judgement on #1. I'm having a hard time believing that there isn't something happening to cause those markers besides "HEY DUDES NEARBY".
Reload speed seems fine so far, and there are skills that increase the speed already in place specifically so that players have the option. The usual "swap to your sidearm" trick seems to work quite well, for what that is worth.
Not enough experience for me to comment on HAVs yet, but considering the cost, and hearing they are already being nerfed in the next update, I think that won't be an issue for long.
Edit: I like how the tone of the OP has been changed from its initial aggressive one to this more pleasant one. |

#1 That's where signature of the suit (and even the skill that reduces your suit sig) come into play. Higher signature means your suit/vehicle shows up on the map/ingame with the arrow above them longer. The scout suits are working as intended; they have a low signature which severely reduces the time they show up for the enemy.
#2 Suits are already incredibly weak as it is. One to two shots from a shotgun, one shot from a forgegun, one to two shots from a sniper, a handful of shots from a combat rifle, etc etc all down an enemy very quickly. Really, you just suck at shooting if you think these dropsuits need to be downed even quicker than they already are. Also keep in mind that each suit (minus the militia ones) all cost money...
#3 They fully intend to increase map size as well as max players per game. They're keeping the games/maps small for the Beta so that it's easier to test.
#4 The only thing I agree with here is to make it more difficult to cancel reloading your weapon. Otherwise, the reload speed is perfectly balanced for most weapons; additionally, there are skills for several slowly reloading weapons that decrease the time it takes to do so.
#5 I've been driving well tanked (Best Repair Unit, Best Armor Resistance Amp, Best Damage Control, etc etc) HAVs for a long while now... and I can tell you right now that a well equipped and working together team can make mincemeat out of even a careful driver in no time. The problem is that people are using the *free* Milita Swarm Launchers and are wondering why they can't kill a 500k+ isk HAV... Even one guy with good skills and a good Swarm Launcher can make a HAV driver nervous.
It's all about risk vs reward. Why should one person risking 500k+ isk be easily killed by a few guys with *free* equipment? |

The reload speed is really a bit too long, especially when you constantly cancel it, when you sprint or throw a grenade. I think the best thing would be to have separate stages of the reloading process (mag out - new mag in - finished) and whenever you cancel the reloading process, you start again at the last completed stage. |

#1 Players who have red icons above their head: - Have just been seen by someone in your team. - Have **** poor drop-suit signature profile. - Have fired a weapon (signature profile and the weapon in question probably have something to do with this as well) #2 This isn't your average run and gun fest, go back to COD. Besides most drop-suits can't handle all that many shots and if they do it's probably due to the bugged hit detection. Besides Duvolle tactical Assault rifle already literally rapes most militia fits with the damage. #3 Agree, would make it easier to evade those pesky tanks #4 there are 2 skills in game that decrease the time it takes to reload your weapon. #5 Devs have commented the issue and they are attempting to fix it .

#3 Agree, would make it easier to evade those pesky tanks I'm a dropship pilot and I have found that, somewhat counterintuitively, a lot of doodads makes it easier to get kills. My gunner's favorite map is Communication, because even when he misses he always hits something right behind his target and splash damage gets 'em.
I can't say for sure that the same principle would apply with HAVs, but you're certainly opening yourself to another threat by adding a lot of objects. |

lol Here is another numberd list.
1. Red icons only appear when someone on the other team see's you.
2. The best gun i have found so far is the milita assalt rifle. mass drivers and shotgun work great for people having trouble aiming.
3. Well space is a vacuum and not every world we play on has an atmosphere that allows for life. be it plant or animals. if you didn't notice we are fighting in space suits
4. i know the feel, i've been speccing out HMG's. there are two ways around this: A. lvl up your reload speed. B. equip a SMG in the side arm slought.
5. Firepower, armor, mobility. A Tank is what it is. At the moment tanks have free range to go anywhere they dam well please, however we have a lot more tools to deal with them coming down the road. placable AV turrets, more powerful orbital strikes, and fighter jet equivalents.
Don't lose hope. what we are playing right now is just the tip of the iceberg.

Pretty much the same, because yeah on communications, I can splash my tank's missiles off anything. You're safe in very few places in that structure, really only inside the center building, and even there it's a gamble as some doors can be shot into from certain angles.

I don't think the third one is true, as people who sneak up on me and shoot me in the back are usually not on my radar until I turn around. |

1. Dropsuit signatures and the cloaking devices are coming. 2. Believe me. I kill people EASILY. And I'm building for a sniper with my SP but I play as a limited Assault most of the time. 3. There is plenty of cover, I use them effectively, I've seen some grass I swore once BUT I believe we're on a moon or a very bleak looking planet. 4. You can do so through the skills. Personally I don't need reloading right now for most of my fittings. 5. This is a big issue that is being worked on.
