Is it me, or since CCP released all those BETA keys, and gave Full access to the week-end keys.... I have Been getting MAJOR LAG SPIKES!!!! I can't run, i can't Turn, can't HACK..... The Character Stops Aiming.... Start Shooting someone, he ends up 5 feet on the side of where your aiming... Not ALL games end up like that, but now, i would say 75% of games i join, i get to encounter lag Spikes!!!!! Will CCP fix this ASAP?????
AND NO! my internet connection has nothing to do with it.... |

Do you know what is involved in 'fixing' lag? It's not just adding a one liner in the code disabling lag. The entire game, hardware, and network needs to be designed to even reduce lag a small fraction.
CCP will always be working on improving this, but it will never be fixed. No game with ever fix lag.
If you wish to do your part fixing lag spikes: Identify what conditions produce a spike. Reproduce the spike without fail. Report it clearly to CCP. They will have a team of people fixing the issue. |

As sure as you are that it isn't, never rule out the possibility of it being an issue on your own end. If you want to get really serious about making things go smoothly on your end, look into port forwarding and all the fun that entails. |

Look, I know capslock is cruise control for cool, but you still have to steer.
They've already said that they're working on latency related issues. |
