I wouldn't have been on board with this if the game released this year. But since alot of us will be beta testing this game over a year before it releases...

Perhaps every Beta tester could choose a weapon of their choice, and be granted a blueprint of it stamped with their name. Make it a non-tradeable item at no more than an advanced grade for damage output. That way it would be powerful enough to use as a signature weapon for that character, but not too overpowered. The benefit and notoriety you'll get for being Beta testers would be in the scrolling kill log at the top of the screen. "Cortez the Killer (Cortez the Killer's NT-511 Sniper Rifle) xxx xxx". |

I know we are not supposed to ask, as we allways get told - don't ask!
But how long is this going to be in beta, and how many more times are there going to be charcter wipes?
Are we allowed to modifiy the code aswell? - Say I've given up beta testing now, and would like to add my suits and veichles ect to my own - none networked run version of the game. Can we do that or is that also a no no....
And when is the manual ever going to be finished, or shall I do that aswell.
Also is it wrong for me todo a hacked game save or a dynamic theme for this too, without your permission, sort of thing?
What exectly are we allowed to do in beta testing? |

Love this idea, BUT I don't think it should even have Advanced-level stats if it's a BPO (which it should be).
Make sure it's ACTUALLY a novelty item. Basic, maybe even Militia, statlines. Something like the Dragonfly suit or the Toxin SMG, or the Skinweave suits.
Basically, make them junk gear, but BPO junk, so there's no cost involved. That alone is a benefit. |
