So I just started playing. They had me choose Male or Female.. But I look no different than the male characters. So what's the point of picking male or female? If the option wasn't there I could still have a girl name and it'd be no different. So I think the body should be shaped like a women.. The amour can still be the same, just with CURVES. If there's any other girls playing, back me up if you agree! So far I love the game, there's only minor fixes that need to be done.. in particular for me, the curves. |

I am unable to say who at CCP said "the new female dropsuit designs are tasty"
As to when they will be implemented.....Soon .......sigh. |

people still surprized to play an unfinished game when it's beta, what is this world coming too?
It's like every other mmo just uses a beta as free advertisements.
I did see posts while beta testing GW2 like, "I thought there were going to be 5 races but I can only pick too, arenanet is kittens stupid to release this game without 5 races, this game is **** I'm leaving"

it will probably be added later :D or you could just request in the REQUEST/FEEBACK section of this forum.
yeah...good addition for female avatars too...wow...you're the first chick playin this beta too huh or am i am blind that some are actually girls here

They're seriously coming. CCP has tweeted about them and mentioned them a few times on IRC. That plus there are Female test suits present on Buckingham along with all the other new stuff. |

In the background, female recruits are placed in identical male bodies to save costs. Clones of the original body cost more, so when female suits are added they will probably cost more. Works to balance smaller hitbox with higher cost at same time it fits background. Also, if female dust mercs can use male clones, male mercs could use female bodies if they pay the extra cost.
Gender and bloodline are just background details with no game effect, race only affects starting package and start location. |
