I have a feeling this had to do with the game having to load to much, to fast. I was driving one of the beginner trucks, and I saw an enemy one parked with a guy on the turret. So, decided to ram into him for the fun of it. As I was getting closer, he noticed me and started shooting. I then rammed into him at full bore, and as I did that, the game froze, and I had to shut down the system.
I just thought that I'd bring this up. |

yep I only ever seem to get the PS3 hard freeze (needing to be turned off at socket) whilst using vehicles....
Generally when theres more than one on the screen and people going crazy shooting everywhere.....
then either the hard freeze for me,,,, OR the entire battle crashes for everyone (on both sides) and we\'re all sent back to MQ
Still love my LAV tho even if it is a risk of ISk and possibly having to stand up and walk all the way over to the plug  |

I seem to get the PS3 hard freeze when I'm at the load screen with the control map showing. Just sits there forever and eventually the animation at the bottom right just stops moving. |

Hard freezes are the worst. My PS3 slim is a few years old now, so the last thing I want to do it pull the plug during a freeze when the power button no longer functions. Enjoying the game so far, but I'll have to bow out until the frequent freezes and invalid fitting loadouts get fixed. |

the small screen freezes that is happening is due to server lag, nothing more, at pikes there's over 3300 people playing on the test server.
You WILL have less screen freezes on moments there are less players playing.
Again, its idd a BETA- version, wich is been played on a testing server, not the same server it will be on release, wich is a way bigger, better and stronger server.

PS edit on this, full game freeze / PS freeze is related to your playstation, memory dump issue, happens 90% of the times after hours of playing.
so take a small break between ur gaming, every few hours a small coffee break, bio break, get laid or whatever and turn ur PS down for a moment during that break. |

I can only play 3 games I a row before my PS3 hard freezes when returning to the merc quarters (after the victory/ defeat screen), so I would hardly call that "hours of playing" 
This symptom seem to have started (or gotten worse) after the last hot fix .
I am in EU and have a PS3 slim with 300GB (original) drive with roughly 100 left. |

I've had a number of in-game freezes, been kicked off battles frequently, struggled to get into battles frequently and several console hard freezes too.
This probably because its still in development, but I'm worried that I'll kill my PS3 if I keep playing the beta! |
