A friend of mine and is wife both have valid individual Beta codes. However when they try to play at the same time one of two things happens.
1) Whichever person tries to start the game second is repeatedly told the server is unavailable and cannot access the game at all.
2) If the second person does manage to get in game, the moment they hit the Merc Quarters any voice chat within a squad involving the other player in the house goes down the toilet.
Multiple connection types (wired/wireless) and combinations of connection types have been tried but always with the same result.
It is worth mentioning at this point that when playing individually there is no issue (apart from the usual lol). It is only when they try to play at the same time. This is causing a bit of an issue as they are husband/wife and also frustrating as hell when you are trying to play with them both!
Just wondering if anyone else had come across this, and if so if anyone had found a work around?
Cheers All ! |

i do not have this issue. i have two ps3s and my friends come over and play dust using their accounts on my second ps3. both are wired and neither have issue, not even voice, although we have to mute each other or it sounds freakin weird.
i suggest you check to see if your router supports UPnP and if so, enable it.
other than this, idk, as i do not have this issue, it works just fine for me. |

I have 2 consoles on my network, one wired and one wireless. We've had no problems playing at the same time. This sounds like a problem with your router. |

ive got 2 ps3s on my network attached wirelessly. We have different accounts. When we group together in a squad we seem to get freezing issues and dropping out of games. But when we play individually we have no problems at all. we have even been in the same game on oppisite sides with no problems. It seems to only crap out when we are grouped in a squad. |

Works for me I use a static ip setup. Try checking if it works when both ps3s are on a seperate network. If they are able to work in the same household on 2isolated networks (2 different isps to play online) you can narrow it down to being one of 3 things, ip confusion/conflicts, something with your Nat filter, or perhaps both ps3s are causing issues internally on the network (try static ip not dhcp) or check with your provider might be something on their end possibly. Thats all I could think of so good luck testing it out |

I have two PS3s and two accounts and we have been able to play together a lot without much problem. I have on rare occasion seen "server is unavailable" but I didn't have any reason to think this was linked to both trying to play at the same time. |

Have since found out the 3 or 4 times we were playing in the same squad a 3rd person in the house was downloading stuff on his PC and hogging all the bandwith. We have since played in the same squad without him in the house using the PC and everything has been running sweet. PC users are so ignorant :) |

The voice chat errors are due to bad NAT setup. While they look into your petition, do check your nat type and do some troubleshooting. |
