CCP allowed group hacking so why don't you do it?
CCP put in a an objective mode, why don't you guys go for the objectives?
CCP put in the ability to customise your fit, why don't you make an Av fit which isn't a heavy with swarm launcher?
Answers please. I've had game after game where I am winning things for my team. Pick up the slack FFS. |

Atleast you answered Fenrir. It goes beyond CoD mentality. You camp spawns and stuff in CoD. People just wander off in Dust... It's like clones have some mental deficiency. |

I have given up rushing to counter hack. People "cover you" instead of helping. I just shoot my friends who are "covering" me. Then hack it once it goes red and try to fight off the invaders. I look forward to friendly fire. |

Actually I would like to keep the title in the hope that more players like Staz explain why they don't help hack an objective ect. I'm not saying you shouldn't suck as a nOOb, I just want people to think about why... If I get time I'll do a "Tony tells you how to play : Skirmish" and understanding the mentality of people who haven't played FPS games before, or ps3. Like Tebow saying about soft definition TV's having a useless minimap.

Forge is suicide until they sort out the explosive feedback. Fzzzz bang miss. Repeat until dead. Argh. I only use the basic swarm launcher. It's 20k sp well spent, and can suppress tanks far more effectively due to a larger clip. You'll still want hives and AV nades. And you'll still get laughed at by good tanks.
As for the running without a mic or alone, I quite often do both currently. It shouldn't be a problem. Certainly a disadvantage, but I like a little challenge. With 16 players on my team, why am I the only one calling in militia tanks. Dropships. Uplinks. Hives. Injecting. I don't repair because I don't have time :P I'm also exaggerating a bit. But only a little.
I guess the best piece of short advice would be that if you see someone doing something like hacking/dropping uplinks/throwing AV nades/reviving ect, think "why am I not doing that?"
Then do it if you don't have a really good answer. (such as being dead).
Re:Group Hacking.
Forget covering someone hacking an objective for 10seconds. Help them, and make it 5 seconds instead. If an enemy spawns it takes about 10 bullets to kill someone. Less than a second. This is assuming standard assault rifle just as an example.The best bet is to help hack, but face the opposite direction to your buddy. First one to get shot defends the other one :)

Colour problems need to be fixed. There needs to be a couple of colour blind options. Heck, I don't mind sucking up a few shots so that the dude knows I'm a friend. If he'd just help with this hack...
Regarding CoD not being a team game, I'd ask you to look at the kill streaks. Flak jackets, UAV, counter UAV, black birds, emergency air drops ect were all team based.
Just because people dont understand, doesn't mean it isn't a team game. Just like Dust ATM. It's lack of understanding. |

I'm not looking at that when Dust is released, but until then I'll play with any one. Except people who spend all game talking about carebears, 0.0 and drakes. Wrong game. |

I love your rage. LoL. Feed me sniper tears lol. I could do another thread before my "tony's quick guide to skirmish." I could do one all about sniping, and how it's ineffective, KBM advantage, why people get killed with AR's when they're a sniper, that kinda thing. But I'd really rather concentrate on getting those who are actually going to the objectives, hacking them too. And getting there alive (mostly). |

No, I'm the scrubiest player in my MAG clan. LoL. But they're all playing CS.
Point is when FPS clans (such as STB) can actually roll in numbers I'll stop caring for randoms. I'm pretty used to playing against good players (like STB, EOS and nightmare) I'd just like the crappy ones to help. |

Use an assault mass driver. Kills me everytime. Because I can't use my 1337 aim to shoot you. They are so annoying lol.
