The revive tool is bugged and currently you have to revive the person where he died. Exactly there, and not where his body is. |

Broken how, apparently I never knew they were. There at the beginning of MAG up until 3 months ago. Thought it was great to be a medic...
Nevermind, don't respond. It was a great game, played its role in my FPS needs and I've moved on to this. Dust has some glitches but it is still fun and will be epic in the future. Patience my friends, patience. |

It was too easy to revive in MAG, you could spray someone with your blue mist from 5 feet away and they'd be back up at 100% health if you had the skills for it.
Not the same in Dust, you gotta walk up close to the body and you stab them. I think it used to take a lot longer to revive, now it's not nearly as bad judging by the few times I've seen others revive me. |

Look for nanite injector in the market. Use the militia version on any character, or train skills to get better versions. |

It's not exactly like MAG. In MAG, the tool can be used to heal youself and others, and revive people. In DUST, you need a different piece of kit for all three of those tasks.
Nanite Injector to revive. Repair Tool to heal others. Armor Repair module to heal self. |

The medkit in MAG is the best medkit I've ever seen, because all classes could acquire the skill and it fit all load outs.
Fact is, that in MAG there was no excuse to not have a Med kit with full rez skills as a result. And because of that, players also maxed anther skill, bleed out, so they could wait longer to be resurrected.
Net result: intense team based gameplay around objectives...always someone to pick you up and always someone to kill....
Wouldn't be a bad thing in dust, for every drop suit to be triage capable.... |

The logistics suit is obviously best suited for triage, because it has the most equipment slots, even the milita version can carry two pieces of equipment. |

i always carry a med kit both in mag and in dust. the problem with dust (as of right now) is not everyone carries one. less than mag anyways. also, people tend to suicide quicker in dust. if i see any blue dots around me and it says "triage in the area" then i don't bleed out until the timer runs out. this is especially important in ambush where clone count matters more. also, i'm tired of getting to someone just to have them bleed out right as i get to them leaving me to get killed as well .
if you see that a triage unit is in the area... PLEASE DON'T BLEED OUT! i'll take the 60pts any time. probably more when you get better injectors (100pts?) besides, bleeding out is a waste of money and equipment. i only do it if i have to. |

Honestly, i think the whole reviving idea needs some work. Its slightly glitchy, and the worst part is, no one ever tries to revive me. I do not know about everyone else, but when i go down, no one ever comes to help. Which is irritating, because i like to buy nicer equipment than the militia gear. Thus, its a waste of equipment when no one helps out.

I've noticed you get a notice on your screen when someone with a nanite injector is "nearby", so you can at least expect someone can get to you in time, or at least make the decision to get yourself a new clone and get back in the game faster. If you don't see that message, it's not because nobody's trying to help you, it's because nobody nearby CAN help you.
The other trick is, if you got killed because you ran out in the open, don't expect help. We injector jockeys go out to save you, we get killed and even if you get revived, you probably die a second later a second time because when you revive you have almost no armor left.

as far as medics are concerned i expected the lack of team work cause every game has that problem where no one but a small few want to revive their team, so it doesnt really matter if the tool works or not because no on but that small few is gonna know. most players are use to that call of duty rambo im gonna run in and kill everybody style of game play and then they think that every other game is the same and when they find out that its not the same they say it suck and then bash it with some BS reasons. If you ask someone who said that battlefield sucked chances are they love and play call of duty vise versa for battlefield people but there are those like me who love and play both. the sad part is that when you ask them to give you a legit reason for this they give you the Same BS reasons, such as the controls are bad, the graphics suck, the campaign was garbage......... all in all if you want or are expecting someone to be a medic you play as the medic....... |

Been having this issue too. For instance, if a player dies at the top of a hill, the body will sometimes slide down, but you have to try to revive where they died, rather than at the actual body. Also, it seems you have to be oriented a particular way in order to revive as well (but this may just be due to the body moving slightly from where it fell).
With regard to revival tactics, don't be stupid and run out into enemy fire to revive someone, your team will just end up with 2 bodies. The first rule of combat casualty care is suppress the enemy until the casualty can be reached safely. |

True, good point. My issue is that when my team mates are in the area and I am not in a dangerous position, i still do not get revived. Still, kudos to those who try and help out everyone! |

Agreed. Or better yet, if you're down in a hot zone, use your mic to tell your teammates that it's hot and call out the enemy. An assault guy like myself that always carries a med kit (nanite injector) loves nothing more than a downed teammate calling out the enemy for me to kill and then pick them up for additional points.
Those of you that still think you can be Rambo in this game and run out into a group of enemies, well, sorry bud but nobody is coming to pick you up. Please bleed out before i run into a $#!@storm of enemies just trying to pick you up only to end up lying beside you.
For those that are having trouble reviving others, assess the area where they are down. Is there a downhill slope? Is their body at the base of a hill? As said earlier, you must find where they died, not where their body currently lies. If the onscreen revive prompt doesn't appear while you're at their body, walk around them and watch for it to pop up. Try approaching from the feet of the downed player. That typically pops up the "Pess R1 to Revive" message better than any other positioning around the body. Logically, if someone is running forward and gets shot their body may fall or slide forward, therefore try a few steps back from where their feet are. If it still doesn't, use your judgement of the terrain and basic physics to find out where they may have died. If they have a mic, ask the guy where he was when killed and if his body moved anywhere afterward.
Even if you don't see the "triage is nearby" message, look at your minimap. Is there any blue triangles heading toward you? If so, wait to see if they are a medic. If not, just bleed out immediately.
Think that about covers it. |

Logibro's FTW!!
It's annoying sometimes if you don't see where they die, you need to run around in circles for a bit to find the "death drop zone" before you can rez... downside is that they my bleed out while you're struggling and might not wait for rez next time. Another downside is Logibro's are kinda slow moving (only the heavy is slower and not by much) but by far one of the most challenging to use well.
request from the Logibro's... when you die can you please try and die near some cover? It's a bit hard to get you back on your feet and into the fight when we're being shot... |

My favorite is when someone dies while in mid jump, so in order to revive them you have to jump in the air and press R1. You will then hover in the air for the whole animation and fall after the person is revived. |

Haha, that is awesome. I've never come across this but from now on if i can't find the rez spot i'll be jumping around the body stabbing at the air.
If this was a joke, then well played sir. My teammates will probably not take too kindly to me jumping up and down on their dead bodies while they clearly see on their screen that i'm a medic. I foresee many "you're doing it wrong"s in my future. |

I can't find the revive location after hovering over the place where there is no dead body and once I do I stab then doesnt work even though I did the animation and everything. I stab them again but im now squatting then they bleed out after 2 stabing animations. Can be very frustrating with your buddy proto'ed out. |
