i would like modules and equipment that could make indoors and cqc fighting more enteresting. so other than just sugesting you make maps with more structures on them and more indoor fighting i would like equipment design to work in these enviorments such as
explosiovs: basic AP mine it would explode and kill everything in its radius when something gets near and would have a second delay befroe it goes off. this would be a pretty basic peice of equipment Directional mines: like claymroe from CoD would explode outwards in a signle direction, and would have a large radius but in amore specific direction could explode when laser are tripped. Shockwave Explosive: would send out a blast of hi energy in a single direction for 50 meters or until it hits a wall, this would do hi damage to everything it hits and kill most Assault builds but would kill a full HP heavy. this would be a useful hallway trap
AV mine would be a basic mine that does lots of damage straight up like the directional but upwards. do this along with a tank weak spot on its bottom would make these a strong deterient to tanks
Equipment: a statis webifer trap, would work like a nanohive in how you deploy it but would constatly put out a webifer effect around it for anything that got in range, and it wouldnt show up on tacnet until you were within its AoE. would casue havoc in CQC and would trap tank drivers. a Tank Barricade, would deploy like nano hives but put a spike of energy straight up that repeled objects near it. set one of these up in a road and a tank couldnt pass, allowing infantry to limit tank movement A shield wall, would be deployed like nanohives but would put up a Shield in a pentagon shape, allow someone to crouch on the side or stand in the middle and be complete covered from firepower, but some one could stand at the edge and fire over the wall where it angles down. Tire spikes, would be deployable like nanohives and would casue damage to vehicles that cross them even pop LAV tires
Impacements: imagine a module that would fit to LAV that allowed them to drop a heavy peice of deployable equipment that would make LAV very useful for setting up defenses. a implacment would be complete stationary and would allow someone to get on them like the small turrets on vehicles, these would be smaller
a heavy cannon, would be a stationary rotating cannon that fired hi damage shots, it would have a blast shield that could take 2 or three direct tank shots. these along with webifers and barricades would annilate tanks.
a Heavy machine gun, hopefully CCP will increase the damage of hmg considerable, this would be just like the heavy cannon but rather than being a slow firing hi damage its a HMG that can spits round out at infantry.
tools Flashbangs and webifer grenades would be helpful anyone agree |

Shockwave weapon you stated that could kill most Assault builds.
So scouts would have to run to some direction to avoid instant death from something? I don't like that. cause then it'd just be over used. |

it be pretty easy to aviod it could have a obvious start animation(lights and color) that would allow players outside to aviod it but indoors where you might not have the freedom to dodge it it would be pretty deadly. but dont forget Ap mines would one hit kill scouts to and grenades all ready one hit kill scouts.
it wouldnt be to OP easy to aviod in most situation would limit it to indoors anyway besides what scout would be leading a charge down a hallway anyway? this is a AoE weapon meant to take out forces charging down the hallways.
but what do you think about the other stuff? |

Now a lot of you complain about tanks rolling over everything in their path well if this stuff was added you could 2 or 3 guys could create monstrous tank traps using the tirespike like drops along with barricades and AV mines they could devastate a tank add a forge gunner on top of this and a tank would fall.
Or set this stuff up in a more urbanize environment and you could control tank movement and stop tanks from getting near objectives if they didn't have support.
This stuff would cause tanks to require infantry support to be useful because a few logi could become a major treat on the battlefield or capitalize on a assaults single equipment slot and a squad of assault could drop entire tank column. |

Mines are really terrible. Nobody should be dying to things that someone put on the ground 5 minutes ago and then wandered away from to go actually fight. EMP mines that temporarily impair vehicles or shut down your dropsuit's UI would be okay, but the only things on the ground that should be exploding and killing people are remote explosives on their ilk -- things you need to actually observe and pull the trigger on when an enemy is near in order to do damage/get a kill. |

99% of the time, equipment people suggest to be put in a game is just crap and would break it.
This post however, is that 1% when the suggestions are actually really damn good. Web grenades could be a scifi approach to flash bangs etc. Mines can be OP, but lets remember how big these maps are, thus for a vehicle to wonder over one, the guy who laid the mine deserves to be rewarded. The fortified LAV could add a solid front-line to the game (which is very ,much needed), and make the combat more intense BUT measures would have t be taken to prevent spawn ****. |

i was a little shocked that some one wounldnt want a normal part of warfare into a war game. mines could fill a grenade slot so if someone has mines they wont be able to have grenades, fair trade off? |
