Whenever im in a gunfight and my ammo run out (not really a good aim-er ) and i end up dying because the gun didnt switch fast enough. I think player will find that annoying for not bieng able to save themself in a gun fight. So all i wish is too make the wepon switch much faster please. |

I agree with you. It is much too slow to switch to the sidearm. The reload animation is also a bit too long in my opinion. I actually wish it wasn't mapped to R2 as well. Triangle would be much better. Make the right analog stick switch stance. L2 melee and R2 grenade. |

There is a skill you can train to speed up reloads. |

Well, hopeful to help out others that are in the same frame of mind, they will give us a mappable controller layout. As for the speed of the switching between weapons, I believe a lot of us are so used to the unreality of COD, BF, Halo, and other games of that generation of FPS's that we have an unreal expectation of how long it should take to draw your secondary weapon in a firefight.
What I would like to see in response to this is the possibility of a Quick Draw skill that, much like the Rapid Reload Skill trees, would reduce the time it would take swap weapons. The first tier would be a 5% reduction in draw time at a 2x skill cost and then the proficiency could be a 7% reduction in draw time at say a 5x or 6x skill cost. That would equate to a total of 60% reduction of draw time and may promote and produce a "gunslinger" style of player for the game. The increase in the percentage would be a good incentive for people that decide to participate in that skill would actually receive some real benefit from it and playable advantage in certain situations (and if you run into someone that you notice can out draw their weapons, you learn to keep your distance and pop them from afar).
What I would also like to see would be the actual swap between the gear actually being drawn onto the character models (i.e., the side arms would be clipped on next to my nano hives and nades). Currently they seem to appear out of nowhere. Maybe that will happen when we switch up to the PS4.

Just wait til you try out Logistics. You actually have to stop to swap directly to the equipment you need. Or very painfully cycle through. There has to be a better way. |
