Yes they should.
Those "blow on impact" grenades are exactly like Remote Explosive in the previous build. At the moment, this type if grenades only exist through Aurum wich limits its use by people.
But, as i guess we'll have soon or later some ISK version of those grenades, it will become a real non-sense on the battlefield. Taking out the skills needed to use grenades.
In the case where there wouldnt be any ISK version, those grenades would really be a Pay-to-Win mecanic.

yep they are pretty good arent they. Before removing them I would like to see the below. If we could skill for specific types we may see less of the cavity ones. And as a bonus get anti AV on to the field quicker.
Basically, I would rather they separate out the grenade routes in the first instance to see if it makes a difference.
One for AV one for infantry so it takes the same amount of SP approx 1 million to get to all the other type of prototype weapons, rather than the 2million SP required at the moment. Not sure why it is like this, but presume CCP think we are skilling two weapons/ skills (anti infantry & AV?)?
plus, it would be nice if we could get some work on the throwing action of grenades. I dont know about you but you cant really 'throw' your grenades where you want. The action seems way off. |

I would prefer if the damage was cut so that they can severely damage, but not kill. This would be a trade off for their exploding on contact. Why remove when you can balance? removing decreases variety, and make things less interesting as a result. |

but why balance down. Isnt the point of AUR items to access the next tier of weapons quicker. So for those who want to pay its helps avoid the grind, rather than solely about P2W. Cant remember the stats exact but pretty sure the proto grenades are comparable. |

Needa a major balance dont forget thukker are even more unbalanced.
These cant be got 4 isk aswell so best pay 2 win example in game atm.
