OK so I was mulling over my long neglected e-mail inbox when I came across the August 16 News and Updates message. at the bottom it gives a guide to the 'All-Around Assault" fitting. now I'm not much for Assaults personally, I'm a Logi I hit things with a wrench not a gun more often than not, but what really peeked my interested was a text in that section of the e-mail that read:
"Each week we share a favorite fitting from staff and community members thatGÇÖs designed to be both effective and accessible for beginning and intermediate players. "
now I'm sure its been well over a week since August 16 and I've yet to receive any other e-mails of this like from CCP so I must ask, where exactly are these fittings being posted or is this just a tease from CCP/something they never actually got around to doing in favor of something more important?
oh and just in case anyone was curious was curious, the fitting looks like this:

What exactly is your question? If you're just asking how to get these fittings, you have to manually make them yourself. Obviously to use them you're going to need the skills (and items) just like every other fit.
As they said, they like to give out relatively easy to obtain fits presumably so people who might like the idea of a certain role, but who aren't entirely sure how to play it well, an idea of where to start (and be effective at the same time). |

I think it's only the emaiils. If it's not every time, then it's every so often because I've seen them in there before. |

Parson, if that's the case please do share some of the other fittings. I'd very much like to get a catalog going of them so that I can share them with new players or people that are uneasy about how fitting works. I remember being in a similar boat than that and didn't really make sense of things till a friend helped me out after struggling for a while.... |
