CCP Devs don't use haxx when playing, as a rule. From what I've seen (in Eve) they play in one of three modes...

1. Incognito, as a regular player. You wouldn't know they were a dev at all, and they are not allowed to let you know. No haxx allowed.

2. As a CCP Dev. They may have unlimited budgets, but again no haxx.

3. Role-playing. Here they may use unique items or abilities (such as Sansha motherships) but in this mode their objective is to provide content for players, not to win.

They do have an "internal affairs" division which keeps an eye on these things, following a rather infamous scandal a few years back.

True! I'm on 1. and we used 2. only during events such as Gamescom. We don't jump in incognito with all skills at level 5 in a public server.

Would be nice a match VS players, using a normal toon :)
