the freezing of the game is the biggest problem with this game fix it fast or lose everyone. im sick of restarting after every 2 or 3 games. you guys need to get on a fix............Hurry.....

I thought there might be something with my PS3 until I looked at the forums. The freezing, soft and hard locks, get extremely annoying when having to constantly back out to the PS3 desktop every 2 or so matches. That sad part is, it's hard to tell when it will, thus enabling me to start a quick battle and end up with my character standing there and no way of moving, canceling, or anything else. I can open the chat just fine but nothing else works.
A small lead in that I found towards if it's going to freeze on me is if the marketplace won't load any items at all. Only once have I had the game freeze during loading, even then the symbol was still animated. |

Klein Zen I thought the same thing but good to know its not just my ps3 lol. I find it freezes if Im walking and press O when walking towards Instant Battle. Then it freezes and I cant move and nothing loads. This needs to be fixed. |

Freezing is pretty common. Just got freezing at victory screen and couldn't do anything except go to PS home and play MGS 3 instead. Sigh. |

Hardlocking of the system is a huge issue for me. I'm not really in the mood to scratch a platter on my PS3 HD. I've had 5 or 6 won't-even-restart-with-reset-button locks tonight. It's quickly getting to the point I'm scared to run the game. |

I am also having these issues. Constant locking when trying to join a round. Had to hard restart 10 times tonight. Seems to happen every other
round. |

indeed, i have actually only started playing today, and already i have had 3 times freeze during loading just after accepting agreements and pressing start button. and it fails to start the game only the scene where the ships goto the planet never goes away with the circle thing twirling in the middle of the screen. leaving the only option to exit by ps button, and having it do it again.
also the lock ups where not even pressing the ps button does anything. i even pressed the power button...nothing.
then what? i had to pull the plug. this is potentially catastrophic to the system, and i realise by agreeing to the terms of a voluntary testing...i still believe that a game should not be harmful to your system.
pls fix this problem, none of us want damage to our systems, we want a game that we can play.
good luck in fixing this, and i really do like the game, and hope that it can be fixed.
damage aside, its really quite annoying. |

The relief reading these comments is great. I'd been worried that it was my ps3 that was causing the hard locks. Knowing it's a beta with the issues being looked into and the fact that I'm loving the game when I'm able to play it has me feeling fairly patient.
Edit: I've just done a database reconstruction on my PS3 as advised on this https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=22133 and it's done wonders for my game. Everything is running very smooth for me now with only a small bit of lag now and again. |

Im sorry but i need to vent a little about this. shshfsdlhfslhfslkjhdslkjweljfhjuf hwjhf wehweh. Just got on. got into one match and played and it froze in the loading screen afterwards. No quit game or nothing. Have to unplug the ps3 and turn it back on. Im really looking forward to a fix for this. But it makes be wanna break my controller in half and punch a wall! Ok im done now. |
