Every sniper has gotten into a sniper on sniper battle where there is one point where both of you are aiming at each other and you are just waiting to line up the shot, then pop some one is dead.
Heres a tip take the shot while stabilizing your shot, then bounce out and dance to cover and repeat. Wait for them to reload and win.
This will allow you to get more shoots off faster while still retaining up to about 80% accuracy.
It feels like you wasted an opportunity at first but the 2 seconds its takes for you to shoot and your opponent to line up and shoot is a big deal.
Sorry "From Costa Rica" you can sit and line your shot up all you want, I will quick scope and move every time you are trying to counter snipe me. |

Related note, Surround sound is great for counter-sniping too. |

I just started down the sniper path a couple days ago ( though I do recall you sniping me more than once on my logi guy), and while dropping the unsuspecting infantryman when he thinks he's hidden is fun, routing out other snipers is the cat's meow. So far only a couple where we were shooting at eachother.

Hello, yep i know we had a little of a contest a few days ago, you won, but i may need to tell you , charged sniper rifles take a little bit longer to get the kill, that charging is letal when facing a good contra-sniper...

LOL, I need to improve much more, I've been playing for like a day and I fail at, well everything I went straight to sniper guns since the start, I think I should have started with assault and then move on but oh well, failing makes things fun for everyone

Yo Snipers, get a ****** grip.
Just yesterday I went to check my friendly neighborhood hill to see if there where any hostile snipers there as I could swear that I had seen a red dot in my radar in that direction. Well what I saw was 3 snipers 2 from my own team and one hostile sniper in middle of them.
I mean seriously.....
Radar awareness, is it too much to ask? Do I posses some super radar or am I the only one in my team with radar to begin with?
Oh and if you see me on a hostile team, you better shoot me/retreat before I get too close. I don't need to wait my aim to stabilize with my tactical assault rifle. One of my favorite past time hobbies is taking down snipers while simultaneously doing ADS ballet. |

I love seeing snipers on the hill! as you can tell by the name that used to be my spot till I started getting lots of new noisy neighbors. Now even thought I can no longer sit up there with the great view I at least know where most of my targets are  |

Gaming headsets work a lot better. I have the turtle beach PX5's and they work amazing. You can even program the audio to make certain sounds even louder. You make make footsteps as load as grenades haha. But yeah, I hear those sniper shots hitting the ground all the time.

you can hold down the trigger to pre-charge, i pre-charge before i even get into position or scope out, cancel charge by reloading or changing weapon or by hitting sprint. |

Have you tried using the Heavy suit for sniper?, as most suits cannot withstand 1-2 hits by Charge Sniper rifle it would be the ideal armour for sniping. Its best to prepare your vantage point before hand, as the Heavy doesnot have an equipment slot (yet?), with nanohives and droplinks using a logi suit or scout suit. |

the heavy suit has a larger signature radius, making it easier to spot then the scout suit (which iirc has a built in reduced sig. buff).
Learning how to not have the evil red arrow over your head is the first lesson for being a good sniper. |

I had a lot of fun counter-sniping in a match yesterday.
It ended up with an entire squad running straight at me after I took out 3 or 4 of their snipers who were standing around in the open or on top of rocks.
It's not that hard to hide yourself, just remember to take a few shots and leave. That gun is LOUD. |

Oh so much this. Some of these snipers have no clue what's going on around them. I've gone and taken nests of multiple snipers at close range and not one of them even so much as turned to try and fire at me. |
