perhaps the points for killing tanks should go to the tank driver, but i dont know maby the kill stealing gunners should get all of the points.
This is why you should separate driving from gunning. |

Cause infantry get kills stolen all the time and I don't know how many times i have spent chasing a tank around shooting swarms at them and just when i am about to kill.....finally someone else jumps in to gets the kill.......oh well.....part of the game get over it.
Yep...
I look at it this way...If I were really in a gun fight -- I don't give a rat's a** who kills the enemy in front of me! I live to shoot another enemy since this one went down. This game isn't about the KDR; it's about teamwork. It seems to be the fundamental difference between FPS & FPSMMO I think. |

This is why blaster turrets should be buffed. This is why you should have to assemble a tank unit squad to even field a tank. This is EvE! Why are we ignoring EvE-like details!
It's all good though |

Alright, alright...touch+¬ my good man! A good retort, indeed!
EDIT: I guess this is why I think requiring a specialized squad, which should get bonuses based on skills, etc., should be required to field the tank. It really takes a team of skilled individuals to run a tank. You would all split the profits across the board. And people would not be able to just 'jump in your tank' either. I think a lock out mechanic (as mentioned plenty of times on these forums) makes good sense. If you are looking for an extra 'passenger', you get to unlock the door, so to speak, as tank commander. It's already bastardized enough that the driver has to assume tank command. It's certainly not realistic from that POV (no hate, just an observation). |
