I also think that part of the auto-detection thing is that we don't have any of the Active Scanner modules yet. I'm looking forward to the cloak so that I can rack up kills the same way I did in Crysis 2. |

I'd use Blacklight: Retribution as an example, but I don't play that anymore. Nevertheless, they actually had good cloaking mechanics for that game. The only way to be completely invisible was to stay still, and any increase in motion would increase your visibility. The cloaking device itself was activated by a handgrip that wouldn't allow you to hold a weapon, so you had to switch back in order to actually attack anyone. |

1) cannot have weapon out, you would need to switch to an item like you switch to a repair tool or nano hive. 2) only run with a limited number, similar as to how you an only have 2 nano hives or 2 drop uplinks 3) only lasts for about 15 seconds each use 4) cannot hack or perform functions 5) high PG and CPU usage I'm cool with anything except a time or activation limit. The other handicaps are more than enough. |

I would probably be ok with th cloak working similarly to stamina, you use it it goes down and when you are not using it, it builds back up ( so maybe get rid of point #3). See, I really don't see a reason why doing it EVE style wouldn't work. The person obviously wouldn't be completely invisible, since it is a camouflage system and not a light-bending system, but the inability to attack anyone while cloaked, combined with possibly enacting a speed penalty while using it seems like more than enough. |
