So I logged into Singularity, and was looking through dropsuit modules under the infantry gear category, and found smart bombs. Ok cool! I clicked on it to see the description.
"At the moment of death this unit triggers a small explosive powerful enough to kill any infantry unit nearby."
Oh.
I hope this module comes with enough CPU and PG cost to gimp your fit some if you try to use it, then it could very well be balanced. Otherwise, I would be very worried. |

In a scout shotgun build it wouldn't be a problem. You rush into their face and even if they kill you, they die. It better be well balanced CPU and PG wise. Also that range better be rather short. |

It gimps your build, and prevents you being rezzed. If you want to waste all that ISK go right ahead. |

I can allready see the problem about this. People with militia suits will just slack on this module combined with extended stamina and then run to the next group and blow themself up. Seriously some people will just make a alternate account for that. Pile up 100 units of them and run around like mad mens. Dust doesnt need copy pasted deathstreaks from COD. No skilled player on earth wants them. And starting a tactic that involves to die is allways a bad tactic. |

Even if this could/will be abused to the hilt, I don't see why CCP wouldn't allow this thing.
And throw some granades or remote explosives and be done with those pesky things. |

Seems to work well for the Taliban. If you define 'working well' as just killing people. Shotgun fairy suicide bombers! |

And how would this be different from the "hizzbollah tactic" used in other shooters where someone runs to a group of enemies with a cooked grenade in hand, this will happen in any game that tracks K/D ratios. Even in games that don't have re-spawns before the match is finished this happens all the time. |

great mine on death script and martyrdom just made it to dust. at least with martyrdom you could run and the script once you knew the lamer used it you didnt loot his corpse.
maybe they will give it a delayed trigger? |

Too bad every match has clone counts huh? Too bad you can't cap objectives after you blow up too.
