As most other people have pointed out, CCP doesn't make appearances on PS Home. It is just a straight copy/paste from one of Iron Wolf's threads labelled as having originated from PS Home.

Sol, you are being a jerk. Stop it please. Saber is a play tester just like you. He has taken the personal initiative to better the community and help foster increased communication.
Please don't act like an entitled, self centered 'customer'. You're not.
And this, coming from me, who complains to CCP constantly to enhance their communication with us...but you won't see me attacking other testers for trying to fill in where CCP may be lacking
To be honest, who am I to say this isn't a ccp's honest attempt at using different channels then players are used to for game development.
Just asking for some understanding of sabers position. Thank you

lol how is using IRC crap for communication? use the tools that are appropriate.
They talk to us on IRC because they want to, not for game changing ideas, because nullarbor likes to send us rickroll videos, frame likes to link us to threads he's just posted, wolfman fancies a chat.... the list goes on.... they aren't robots ffs and I put it to you that you should gtfu, you aren't paying for this game, don't like it? get out. These are guys taking their break to talk to us, their presence in IRC keeps us active which in turn gets us to help newbies looking for information.
there are so many reasons why CCP SHOULD use IRC, even home for unofficial duty you have to be a troll not to see it.
you learn so much more in the IRC room than just reading a ton of half baked kid threads - sure you get a lot of gems on the forums, but comms are slow. IRC we give instant feedback and know not to cry for new diapers because we found a new bug, or mindstars resetting the servers. (See you in 20 minutes! ;) )
I have nothing but the greatest respect for CCP BECAUSE THEY DON'T JUST USE THE FORUMS. |

I was just stating my opinion and will definitely continue to do so.
and for the record, since your logic was obviously distorted by anger and hurt, is that I attacked the method, more so than any player. |

My apologies then, Sol. My primary goal is to ensure that Saber and others continue to be motivated to post any and all information they come across. I can do my best to discern quality from the quantity but I can't get on irc myself as my pc is dead. |
