I've seen some messages from CCP stating that the Corp battles were running from 8/31 thru 9/2, others that say 9/1 thru 9/7.
If the event is indeed over, then who won?
If not, are the start times the same as we've been playing on for the next 5 days? |

Why is it so hard to keep things in the correct order......
would an item costing $235 sound right labelled Two Hundread and Five Thirty Dollars?
The Time is 11 - 08 - 30
is that 8 mins past 11 or 11 mins past eight?

In German "235" would actually be pronounced (roughly translated) "two hundred five and thirty" ...
But I too think that "month/day/year" is RIDICULOUS!!!1

No offense, but it would just FEEL better if we had an "official" statement as to who the winner is and not a declaration of a Minmatar victory by a Minmitar!
I mean it's been 12 hours since the event was over, wtf could CCP possibly be tallying up?

I also think Minmatar won but i only got chance to play in 1 or 2 of the friday matches.
I think we should get our own planet to free roam now we've "conquered" it..
Anyone know if all participants get the 1million SP or were they distributed each match evenly (wp weighted) across the winning teams of each round? |

Same here in Denmark, we too are a bit lobotomized when pronouncing numbers. We use the same system Germany does.
And dates should be one of: "day/month/year" "year/month/day" or just "Day/month" That last one is still a pitfall, and 3rd September, or September 3rd, is preferable, as it removes any ambiguity about which spot is the day, and which is the month, for the first 12 days of a month, after that it should be obvious. |

Minmatar lost only once between all our Corps, but I still do not know how (or to who) CCP will reward the isk/sp. Maybe its to Race, maybe just best corp, maybe just to people whose name starts with the letter H. |

Who won depends how they'd calculate the winner. Is it by the race out of all of them which got the most wins? Then Minmatar won.
Is it by the race which won its particular pairing? Then Minmatar and Gallente.
Is it by the corp within each race that got the most wins? Then it'd be Osmon, Algintal or something, Minmatar I guess would be tied, and I don't think Amarr ever won a game.
But for Minmatar to beat Gallente/Caldari because they curb-stomped Amarr all day would be dumb. |

It should have been faction against faction, not corp against corp. I'm willing to bet all my AUR that each corp has vastly different member counts. I rarely see more than a couple bragian order players in any one instant match, but see loads of villore sec or circle players for example. Honestly, in our corp battles we were seriously outnumbered and thats not the fault of the guys that turned up.
I've got a feeling CCP will give all involved the rewards as it was a bit borked tbph. |

Its all preference. I think the American standard comes from saying the long version of the date. "The Seventh of September" is so much harder to say than "September Seventh". Also, both have their advantages and disadvantages. DD/MM/YYYY is best descripting an event that has happened recently or will happen recently as you hear the day first. MM/DD/YYYY is best when describing most events as you learn which month it had happened first but it is not as efficent if the target date is nearby. |
