Hello!
I am creating this thread because after just playing with a mouse + keyboard I noticed when trying to shoot someone the game almost feels as if it is trying to auto aim for me yet when I go into the options it says Auto Aim is OFF. Does anyone else experience this? & if so is there a fix or is there anything I can do?.
Shall await a reply :D
Love this game though.

It's so people with no skill can play. This game should have no auto aim, since when the EVE universe hold the players hand? |

i can tell you the ps3 controllers do not auto aim at all

Yeah I know I played with my controller then was like... I'ma try my mouse & keyboard and it all the suddenly felt like my cross hairs were jumping a little bit in front of the target and it was making impossible to hit anyone =/ |

Autoaim used to work on the controller. I can't say whether it still does, but I imagine it does. Hint: Use your sights.
I can comment on the kb/mouse , since that is what I'm mostly using . I haven't noticed any assistance with the mouse. I also run with auto aim disabled. Are you using mouse smoothing? |

Almost all FPS games use a form if aim assist when on consoles and it should be so. Even when your "Auto Aim" is turned off. The only exception I remember was fallout 3 and that's why it was such a mediocre shooter.
I don't think we should be snapping to targets instantly like some old CS aim bot. However the aim controls and assisting mechanics need an overhaul especially since its a KBM and Controller game. I remember an issue of game informer had an article where it explained how important these assists are to making combat fluid and enjoyable on consoles.
It's funny. The KBM for me is only good while sniping and I own hard with shotguns on a controller. |

Yep, it uses auto aim. Not good at all, when fighting multiple enemies the aim tries to centre on the nearest, regardless of who I want to shoot at. Very painful  |
