I took a minute to search, and was surprised that I didn't really find anything that applied to my particular feedback, so if this is redundant please just flame my thread, tell me to lurk more, and I'll kindly go away.
It would be greatly appreciated if some (any) alternative to the station environment could be provided. I'm not saying that it has to be EVE style ship spinning; any alternative would be wonderful. I know that a lot of time and effort must have gone into the development of the station environment, but not all of us liked it when it was forced on us in eve (I believe I recall protests) and I know that the rest of my friends participating in the beta, as well as myself, don't enjoy it now. Many of us are drawn to the EVE universe for the clean, ruthless gameplay, and while the beautiful graphics in-game are appreciated, we would prefer a clean, non-distracting environment to chat with corp-mates and play with our "spreadsheats in space" in. I do enjoy the attention to detail (and the lore), but I find being trapped in a small, extremely restrictive 3D environment actually makes me feel anxious and detracts from my enjoyment of the rest of the game. If we could have a simple environment to quietly spin our favorite dropsuit or vehicle in while we waited for our friends to log in, or even a static wallpaper to cover in chat windows, I truly feel that for some (many?) of us it would greatly improve our time in New Eden. |

I don't mind it, but when is the rest of the station going to be cleaned up?
Like forreal, CCP, the place can't even support Capsuleer consumption...

Can't even call in for Caldari take-out or delivery. And these food bars and flavorless station water are pretty nasty. Actually, I think I'm running out of food bars. I may have to start eating fedos. |

I would like a way to avoid the merc quarters when I just want to go from one match to the next. I have no need to see 2 loading screens. |

It's fine for now. It'll be better once everything is cleaned up and theres no more joining errors etc. I'd assume eventually CCP will make it so we can explore the whole (or at least a decent sized chunk of) the whole station.
However, I'd prefer it if we could instead choose to make our home clone bay on an actual planet (perhaps in a residential area?)
It would be kinda neat to be able to look out the window and see a sprawling city, tailored to whatever race controls the planet. |
