Nice buffer but you're going to have serious issues with a single light booster. |

Now if you have remote shield reps going from a friendly vehicle...then you've probably got a pretty nice setup assuming your Logistics support doesn't bail on you. |

It's kind off intended to be a Tank killer due to high HP and Damage. High Recharge won't help much in an encounter that could end in seconds, but then again... (328 HP recharge... 5 times... 1500+ HP...) I might change :P |

You are also assuming they don't have equally good EHP because of high resists. I mean it may work for you, but if you **** infantry off, you wont be able to sustain your shields for long. |

I'd say go with cycled launchers instead of accelerated. Your support gunners don't need the high precision so much as they need rapid fire, I think. |

That was my one of my concerns with the setup. I figured I would either keep my distance from them or temporarily go elsewhere to recharge shields. The 300 HP shield booster is at 164,280 ISK and some modules I mentioned I can't acquire yet (need more SP). The list is merely my ideal future setup (likely OP) with a repair tool for Armor. |

It's good for tank vs tank but the infantry won't die easily due lower blast radius and it's somewhat useless on long distance. |

bah shield tanks. Worthless pile of trash if you ask me. Shield boosters are inferior compared to armor repairs. Another thing is that armor tanks can be repaired by logi players with a repair tool who are standing behind the tank. Had this during a corp battle like 3 logistics where behind me while i blocked the road between A-C on top of the hill. Had alot of swarms incoming to me but the logis kept repairing my tank. Its a double usage effect. Logis getting points for repairs and i stop every vehicle coming to our positions. And when things go bad i just activate my armor repair which allows me to get to full armor in a few secs. My old fit:
Madrugar: -Heavy IG-L Polarized Armor Regenerator -180mm reinforced nanofibre plates (2448 HP) -energized nanite plating (-18% damage) -2X powergrid expansion units (+10 PG)
-F45 Peripheral damage controll unit
-2X AT-1 fragmented missile launchers (blast radius 6.8m/180HP splash damage/420 direct impact damage) - 80GJ Compressed Particle Accelerator (1814 Damage-596 splash damage)
total armor HP: 6072 (mechanics on lvl 5)
New fit: Surya: -Heavy efficent armor repair unit -120mm reinforced polycrystalline plates (1564HP) -voltaic energized plating (-25% damage) -efficent armor repair unit -type-g powergrid expansion system (+14% PG)
-F45 Peripheral damage controll unit 2X Remote shield booster (s) (boosts shields on dropsuits) total armor HP: 5913
i got much better stuff on the surya cause of the better CPU. A small armor rep to get rid of small damages inflicted by swarms/av etc. And my heavy armor rep if got hit hard or going into a tank battle. And if im about to get overrun i activate both to stand against extreme heavy fire. Field tested this and it cant be destroyed in a 1vs1 fight against a sagaris. The enemy team needed 1 sagaris, 1 gunnlogi and a guy using av grenades to take me out. And i damaged the sagaris so badly that he got destroyed by a militia swarm launcher |
