What I see at the moment is that, remote explosives do not stick to a vehicle entirely. In fact, when I attempted it on an LAV, it drove off, apparantly causing the remote explosives to "fall" onto the ground and detonating harmlessly. I am unsure if this affects with tanks as well, but confirmation would be nice.
A second thing that may be good, is that if the vehicle explodes with remote explosives on them, the explosives will self detonate.
Do you think this is viable, or just something that is as concerned? |

So they don't stick to hostile vehicles also? Thats interesting. When I tried to do it to my own lav, I can get them to stay put if I placed them in the driver seat, but they will then do alot of collision dmg to the lav if you try to move it (was trying to make a car bomb for tanks). I wonder if I can find a spot on a tank where they will stay put and not slide off, so they will also do collision dmg to it. |

Remote explosives should have a AV variant that would be sticky / magnetic. Could do massive damage to vehicles but would require you to 'melee' the said vehicle with it. How about it? |

I requested that before the major RE nerf.

Did they even nerf remote explosives? If they didn't, they need a GIANT dmg increase. Mainly due to how risky it is to even use remote explosives on vehicles. You need to run straight pass a gunfire filled area, get to the tank, drop the explosives, and run away to detonate. Cause when I used 2 explosives on a tank, it did what 1/6th of it's shield? |

we used to carry 5 RE, and its timer was like 2 seconds, maybe a lil shorter, now it's 2 RE with a 5 second timer.
And the damage has always been too low to kill a tank, with even 10 of them, I've tryed before on a tank of a friend of mine.
I have been known for RE, and the current state of them is useless to equip. |

REs are not intended as AV weapons but as areal denial weapons. |

Check it out! RE blowing up a tank! I hope that get's implemented but not as op as it seems.
But seriously, focusing on AV now is like shooting yourself in the foot, multiple times in a row. We need variation and effect. One man should be able to be a threat (as in driving the said tank to a retreat..) to a poorly fitted / driven tank, not target practice. |

LOL I mean in DUST RE are not intended as AV weapons. We all know Sock + Sticky Oil + Bomb = Tank Buster ;) |
