After skilling up to lvl1 to use non-militia stuff that I pay ISK for, which requires training and presumably by definition I have been trained to use effectively why are the stats pretty much exactly the same as militia stuff? Does not make sense, generic weapon that is basic to use and therefore requires no training vs equipment that I need to train for because I was under the assumption it is more complex and therefore actually made a difference
It's like, wow, how pointless that en-devour was, can I untrain my skils and put the SP elsewhere?
Also why is there hardly anything new available on lvl2. Most of the time I require lvl3+ in order to get better equipment? |

There's a small difference- clip size. Plus snipers finally get a halfway decent sniper rifle (charge sniper) |

weapons are a great improvement over militia weapons. suits are all the same stats except slot layout and PG and CPU, allowing more options for fits. |

They require less CPU/PG, which is a pretty significant improvement. |

Check out the stats on advanced and prototype suits. CCP nerfed them. Just get HAVs ASAP. |

standard weapons are not a great improvement over militia weapons, they are pretty much the same and that goes for just about all equipment out there. e.g. the shield extender 22hp same as militia Yeah you save some pg/cpu and suits have 1-2 more slots, but most of the stats are exactly the same |

In addition to cutting pg/cpu requirements the tier one suits have better slots (at least for logis) making it easier to have a better fitting.
the ti logi is much better than the miltia because of the one extra equipment slot so i don't have to choose between a repair tool and a drop uplink/nanohive.
its worth the money to me to have that extra functionality. i can really tell the difference it makes in my teams survivablility that results from being able to lay down a uplink/nanohive while being able to revive then repair. |
