The mercenaries of New Eden come in a multitude of cultures and philosophy. Even within each specific group, Minmatar, Caldari, and Gallente; there exists a multitude of diverse opinions about the future of the galaxy.
Rallying calls by the Amarr Empire have already hit the chatter circuits, causing both anger and fear among those within sectors surrounding its territories. Not holding back, the Minitmar's head councils declared both the Amarr Empire and the Caldari State enemies of their government. As tensions rise among systems outlining border territories, small pockets of resistance and fighting have already been seen between representatives of the various galactic states.
But what is it about each group that allows them to be defined so subjectively? Minmatar upholding their brotherhood, Caldari upholding the epitome of cultural aristocracy, and Gallente attempting to do what so many in the past had failed at: Maintaining a functioning Republic. Few forget that the mind itself has more power than most material things we encounter. The mind has the ability to convince us with deception that we will fail where others have succeeded; and that same mind has the power to give you the perseverance to succeed where others have failed.
The respective empires and republics which exist within the framework of each civilization, is in and of itself a field of study all on its own. Forged from slavery and material constraints, groups like the Minmatar have a resistance unknown to that of other cultures. The famous military quote, "When a group or society is pushed to the brink of destruction; it is there that the fortitude of victory and courage will be manifested...." rings all too true when looking at the various armies of the Minmatar.
While the Caldari themselves have their own levels of cultural and philosophical superiority. Championing the viewpoint that death and competition are natural experiences throughout the galaxy, the Caldari have sustained what can only be termed the most Orwellian state in existence. We have seen organizations and cultures like this in the past; remnants of groups such as Raven from the Shadow War of Earth spark memories.
Military ships have been seen traversing New Eden with more fervent attitude toward the acquisition of planetary resources, which have led many to speculate among Gallente and Caldari academic circles that there is only one answer to the question of whether or not this period termed the "Empyrean" Age will be prosperous or regressive. The answer most commonly accepted being regressive.
As the tensions continue to rise and the brink of war hits New Eden, GNN will continue its best to report for you all. |
