1. Indicator for when a friend is online or offline: - a green light next to the contact name when he is online AND playing DUST 514 - in contacts "view info" you could add a "status: Online" when the contact is logged in DUST 514 and "Status: Offline" when the contact is not playing DUST 514.
2. Switch Characters feature: Currently we have to reboot the client to be able to switch to a different characters, i know we still in the beta and this most likely will be implemented when the game is release so, i would like to suggest a way to implement it: - Going near the bed in MQ will show you "O switch character" notification - Or using one of the two doors in MQ if not planned for anything in the future
3. Point Scores instead of KDR leaderboards: This has been suggested/requested many times by others (me included), DUST 514 is team based tactical shooter and KDR is not perfect presentation for such shooter not to mention promoting lone wolfing. Since we already have the Warpoints system why don't you add it to the leaderboards to show the activity instead of the kills only. Similar leaderboard will be great:

As you can see the order is based in the amount of Warpoints you get or Score if Warpoints can not be used for some reason still the KDR guys can show off there skills while rewarding the most active players by placing them in the top of the leaderboards. CCP can go even further by adding other stats to the leaderboard like assists, hacks etc if the screen premits such detailed leaderbords.
4. Mercenary Stats: I would like to see an option to see the activity of certain mercenary in the game like the overall kills, death, assists, hacks, vehicle destroyed, favorite fit, number of hours played and other stuff. This might help Corps recruitment of random players. Again this most likely going to be in the finished game so excuse my eagerness.
5. Email notification: There should some sort of notification when receive mails from others, maybe exclamation mark next to email icon as long there are unread messages.
6. Restocking, HUD and Fittings: (by Hogan-Mueller) - I'd like the ability to restock a fitting to a certain level OR buy X amounts of each mod in a fitting. Basically the way it was last build with an option for the way it is now. - On a LAV if there was someway to reference which direction the vehicle was headed that would make life easier.Also if you could add a HUD on the Dropship such that it displays speed and/or wind direction so you can have an idea of how far to compensate for velocity. - Ability to copy/paste fittings. I don't know how many suits being LOGI that I want almost identical except different equipment options, drives me nuts having to build the different suits each time when all I want is the same suit with an exception in the equip slot.
7. The ability to invite: (by Cricix D) Ability to press "X" on a player name and invite them to squad. Current system is slightly annoying.
8. LAV variations: (by STB Vermaak Doe) - Light lavs: current - Medium lavs: plus two seats with armour protected pilot. Slower top speed than the current lavs - Heavy lavs: +4 to current lav seats with a pilot turret along with a gunner. But moves the slowest
9. Scoreboard, swarm launchers & Vehicles control: (by RedRebelCork) - Scoreboard needs to be more fluid. Right now it's like a sub-menu that pops up taking over your screen. Ideally something like BF3 that can be quickly brought up as a transparent HUD showing who is alive, scores, player counts etc. Current scoreboard takes too long to load. Also Show who is talking on the scoreboard and let me interact with them (mute, friend etc). - Swarm launchers are bad. Everything about them, the unpredictable spread, the lack of infantry stopping power or direct fire ability. They just go all over the place. When locking on if a tank reverses behind cover I'm still unsure whether there's a way for me to release the trigger without firing? - Vehicle control is all kinds of bad. One of the least user-friendly control layouts for a vehicle I've seen in quite some time. Just replace all the stick waggling with a forwards button, a reverse button and use the stick to steer like every game.
10. UI, fittings, and SP gain: (by crazy space) - 3d models on the character select screen. - Better skill training UI - Remove the heavy starter. No one gets what the missles are for. Isn't it obvious by now? Give them militia hmg. Move swarm launcher. - increase passive sp income to 40k a day, or about one match. Isn't one match free not overboard? Also. - Decrease passive sp gain the longer someone hasn'tplayed a game. - Give everyone all militia gear from the start. Having to go to the market to buy one of every militia item is stupid. New players would get a better idea of what they can fit without being expected to jump.through hoops. Do we really want telling people " when you start before anything go to the market and buy your militia gear" to be an expected part of the dust 1st impression? |

11.Heavy Support Aircraft: (by Khun-Al) Pilot + 8 seats + ability to carry 1 vehicle 1 large turret on one side like a AC-130, 1 small turret on each side very slow and just barely manouverable
12. Heavy/HMG balancing: (by fred orpaul) Bring back the heavy! Hmg should have as much dmg as the smg at least if not the ar. Forge needs the range restrictions removed now the greatest perpetrator of tower camping, dropships, are untouchable. Heavies can be sniped dropships cannot and swarms cant touch them if they are placed right, i should know i abused the **** out of this last build. Heaviest should be feared and should be gun game breakers. They were fine in the first build. I loved having to work to take them out and they are the onpy thing that keep vehicles in check in this game. Vehicles should be a tacticql deployment a defened asset not something that roles the whole map and heavies were the suit that kept them in check.
Every one likes to complain about heavies but they are what made this game different from others. Their movement and cost makes them a Hugh liability. They should beable to hit back hard to make up for it. They dont need more armor that would break the pacing if the game but they do need more power in the weapons only they can bring to the game. I have run every thing in the game but heavies and role them every time. I have started running logistics suits with my freinds heavy and found that we do better with an ar heavy then a ******* Hmg heavy. Ive also found that we do better as a pair of low level swarm scouts then a forge heavy and a logistics.
How does breaking the heavymake sense when its so expensive to use? The original heavy was fine please bring it back, and provide me with a more intresting chalenge then Ive had since the first build.
13. Quick fixes list: (by:ICECREAMK1NG WARRIORS) Fix all the bugs. Simplify the chat / squad / notification / grouping system, it's way to over engineered, complicted for the sake of being complicated and generaly a pain in the @ss to use. Frago, a pain to use and too slow. Grouping in general, an even bigger pain and again over complicated.
14. PS Move improvements: (by BookerDaFooker) Just a simple thing, as a Move user I am often finding that I lose sight of my aiming reticule if there is a lot of action on screen. This is a problem because with move you are often aiming at a different part of the screen to that at which you gun animation is pointing, especially with the HMG which barely moves at all with the Move movement (tongue twister alert!). All these animations will hopefully change in full game which will make life easier, but would be great if reticule colour and/or brightness was customizable therefore making it easier to see in volatile situations than the current dull white.
15. Weapon customization: (by Marcelino Mosquea) I really wanna see a weapon customization section... a place where you can buy parts and make your own and unique weapon! I don't know if any of you have played Blacklight Retribution... is done with the Unreal Engine too... and is free to play... the weapon customization in that game is amazing!!! and for me REALLY IMPORTANT!!! they let you rent or buy every single part of the weapon... and you notice the changes when you shot it!!!! so... you can rent parts and prove it... and if works for you, you can buy it.... they even sell ornamentation!!! so you can put a loot of things into your weapon!!!! but let me shut up and show you a video!!!

I'd wager dimes to dollars they're already planning to implement almost all of this, at least to some degree. To use your first example: there's already an "add to watch list" option, it's just not fully implemented to tell you when the person is online. |

Heavies are a bit broken right now and same with there weopons. Last build i would use a assualt dropsuit with swarms and nanohive but very little tank it didnt need tank. All i did was sit on a building or something and kill every vehicle that was to spawn in the enemies spawn. Now i just use my dropship landing on the tank is ore effective than swarms |

Isn't this already possible in the contacts list? It could be more visible, but there is a column that shows if they are on or when they were last on.

This already happens in the notifications window, though I don't think it pops up a notification if it showed up while you were offline.

Militia items will be BPC in the near future (ie, not infinite) so this one isn't going to matter, unless you want everyone to start with a stack of everything. |

Thanks, the actual verbiage quoted from CCP doesn't really indicate what you are saying, it looks like the person re-posting it made some assumptions. Perhaps its correct, perhaps it isn't. I haven't seen CCP explicitly say they are going to make all militia gear BPC. |
