Not hating or anything, but why do you guys say you only have two people who use tanks when every single person with an STB tag in front of their name gets in a tank in every match? By all means, do what you do, but don't try to say you're something you're not. The only time I've ever seen an STB player on foot, he ended up going something like 3-11, and I've seen this same guy go 20+/0 in tanks multiple times.
Just be honest with yourselves... You're good tankers who get such a concentration of hate because you have a clan tag in your names and there's so many of you combined with the general playstyle of people who use tanks - which is to run away from any actual threat pretty much immediately. And that's not a knock, because if I had an expensive tank I'd be concerned about losing it and play the same way myself. |

I suppose I overstepped when I said "every single person in STB uses tanks" because I don't think I've played matches vs all of them, but I've run into half a dozen or more STB players in matches, including YoungCuz, and they are always in a tank, except for the match I mentioned previously where the guy did horrible.
Did you miss the part where I mentioned I wasn't being a hater? Or where I said you guys were good at using tanks? They're in the game for a reason, people are supposed to use them, I don't know why you guys are so defensive about it. Why turn a non-issue into one? I don't have a problem with you guys. I talked to one of your guys in Kelkoons yesterday and he's cool, did a corp battle with him too (woulda been two if not for me getting invalid fitting bug). I don't know the rest of you to form an opinion on you personally, but I just wanted to point out that more than two members of your group use tanks, and use them often... And there's nothing wrong with that, cause like I said, they're there for us to use them.
Don't assume people are alts trying to talk trash next time, ok? Kinda makes you look silly. |

Specializing in tanks is long and hard (thats what she said).
If you want to destroy it, bring a squad specialized in AV. thats all.
I love playing against STB, they offer me a challenge compared to other people I usually play with.
To me, they are what I need to get better. Oh and I do kill them and I did win some games against them.
FYI, there is also the warrior clan something something that runs with squads of tanks.
When will people start specing into AV????? I barely see anyone with proto swarm, proto forge and proto heavy dropsuit?
Keep complaining, but till you do the right thing to take them down, im just gonna sit in my tank and laugh at you.
Agreed on the first part of your post, and yeah I've seen the WARRIORS group too, they're not quite as good in tanks as STB. Was in a match on the same side as 4 of them in tanks last night, I went 15/1 on foot, their best guy only had 12 kills I think... Compared to STB tankers that's not very good, they're usually 20+/0 or 1.
You're tough as nails in a tank too, been matched up against you a couple times. Definitely preferred the matches where we were on the same team. |

Nice. I have a POS Sica but no training in good turrets so I put a militia blaster on it, I only bring it out if there's no good tanks on the enemy side and my team desperately needs support/cover fire on an objective.
Being an Ace Combat series vet (among other flight games), I'm waiting for fighters/gunships :D
When/if those get put in, you might see some hate threads on me in gunships lol |

You STB guys sure showed me how to play on foot today, demonstrating techniques such as-
-Getting a negative k/d on foot, including one STB member not even in the picture because he went 0-7. (Props to quickgloves for at least going positive, he is actually a pretty good player on foot from what I've seen, and don't think I've ever seen him in a vech besides an LAV.)
-Getting killed while calling in a tank and getting your tank jacked (SKIG #1  )
-Calling in another tank and getting it blown up
-Losing an Ambush match without even depleting half of your enemy's clone reserves
I suppose you did get one more kill than me, but on the other hand does 4-5 really qualify as doing better than 3-0 in an ambush match? Next time you guys jump down some newb's throat talking smack for no reason other than him speaking the truth, make sure you actually back up the smack talk, ok?
Again, this is not me being a hater, this is me speaking the truth. Maybe it was an off match for you guys, maybe your team was bad, or maybe you were just outplayed, it's not my place to decide. But so far, from what I have personally seen, quickgloves is the only one who I would say is good on foot. And I've seen him be good on foot in quite a few matches, good team player, pretty good tactics, etc. |

I'm sensing quite a bit of Scared Tanker Butthurt in this thread. Deejae's cavity nades are part of the game, just like your tanks are, adapt and overcome. Just like you guys tell people who whine about your tanks. Adapt and overcome, or he'll continue to thukk you up... No homo.
As for members of your squad being on our team? Pretty tough not to be successful while you're riding SKIG's coat tails to victory. And the reason I was 3-0 and 9th is because I made my way to a roof, threw down an uplink and started calling out enemy positions for my team... You know, some of that superior teamwork and tactics stuff STB is always bragging about having. It's a shame all they really have are big mouths and a ton of SP invested in vehicles.

According to other members, these were your ground troops. I wasn't impressed. Not even a little.

LOL. Nobody was hiding besides your buddy Ted in the tank from those swarm launchers. Nice game though, you guys got a tank and stayed on top of it while it hid and took out a bunch of scrubs.
