Corporate wars are being tested this weekend.
We don't know exactly what that means but we think that you character'scurrent npc corporation will be matched against another npc corporation for combat during a scheduled time.
The battle format will be skirmish. Times are published in GMT on the stickies announcement from CCP Frame.
What will you do to prepare?
Suggestions:
Get your gear ready; have the suits and fittings you prefer set up, fully stocked and ready to drop
Plan for squad ops; it is a fact that dust mercs operating as a team and communicating as a unit perform better on average than PUG teams without comms
So get those mics set up and tested. Understand how the squad joining mechanics work
And practice together: my recommendation is for each NPC corp to start a topic in general discussions ( we used to have corporate forums- bad time to lose those eh?).
Or, if your not avidly into forums ( and thus not reading this), post a squad request comment in local of the chat client
Let's coordinate the corporate war effort. Let's discuss some very basic squad techniques and goals to boost our chances against those who fail to prepare!

Corp battles suggest funding from contracts for that action, but without some new mechanism we will have to fund all our own fits for the full 1.5 hour match. That could make a big difference in choice fittings.
Can a Dev clarify this point? |

Honestly, don't expect these to be any different than instant battle, unless we can group deploy into them with non-NPC corpies. While 1M SP is nice, I don't think beta SP is a great prize. Bring on the player corps, then we shall see true competition. Once everyone stops freezing. |

We are beta testers. It would be overly complicated to try and set it up so everyone could play with people they choose. I think this is more for testing than just playing as it were already released. |

Let's plan to post squad invite requests in game local and get linked up
Even a run or two with Caldari corp squad mates can help to give us an edge this weekend. With only a couple of hours dedicated to each corp battle daily, every tiny edge makes a big difference
