Do not be deterred from those who laugh at you for there is an alternative! DC Universe is free to play with the option of payment and can be download through the PS Store. Its a nice alternative to a beta with frequent bugs and drops, stats that will be erased after each build, and you dont have to worry about spotty information either. Just a heads up that it is a 4 hour dl with a wired connection, doubled or trippled if wireless. This isint to keep you away from your very important duties as a Dust 514 Beta tester, just an alternative to those that would like to put some effort into something in the mean time and see results on ps3.

Just the same as here with their ps plus invites. And of course, when DC went live and FTP.....they jumped in. So, lm hoping the same for DUST...people put off early by a too early invite, then return in droves once we go Live. ...oh, and yur DC is cool but little repetitive[quest wise] after awhile.

Agreed sir. Not many people enjoy putting effort into something with no returns in the end. Im sure it will be the same thing when Dust is completed, but in the mean time my tryhard side is going elsewhere.

It's fun for a while, but PvP has recently been updated, but you have to pay $15 for that. It's still cool and fun, but in my opinion,it gets kinda boring once you do most of the things to do.

Go to their site and look for the features that are Legendary, Premium, and Free I think.

Dcuo is a great game, I play it alot, but why are people criticizing dust for having micro transactions when dcuo HAS EXACTLY THE SAME THING?!?!?!?!?!?! the free to play is there......the micro transactions are there...... and people don't complain. And what's more is pay to talk is also implemented into dcuo, yet people don't complain Hypocrites

But that game has changed with replay badges to charge you to play new pvp maps each day. Sony and DCUO ruined the game with badges and it will be its down fall with the next major update with PvE content. Love my boys who play DC, but I can never go back to that BS game again.

Tony, see DCUO is a MMO game, so it takes more then a few brain cells to be able to play it. Maybe that is why you are having issues with Dust (kidding) DCUO was a great game, spent 2 years playing and helping that community. But sadly just speaking my name in the Sony forums will get you banned, (no joke). They forgot that hardcore players help make that game good, but instead listened to the kiddies cry to momma all the time.

MMORPG is just not my favorite.. also there's roleplayers polluting the game.. imo
