The MOVE is worse, there is graphical corruption all over the place, ie the terrain clips into boxes as big as the ones on the dropsuits that are blinking now.
And I to am very sad to report that the invalid glitch is still alive and kicking.....
Hey, I know beta yadda yadda..... my buddy says another poplular game in a beta thta isn't suffering from a major type of problem, they can actually test that one.
A dev already replied, I'd like to say late last week with something along the lines of, "we (ccp) are not working on this problem really, we are working on adding more content and the next build".... kinda like a there is nothing you can do about it, we will tell you nothing and then ask for your feedback; which we will assign a points system to and if you get a million people to complain about not being able to do anything but learn how to reset your ps3 or anticipate that this game will have a problem, then you learned something from the beta.
You can say relax, they will fix it.... but this is a dry run for any problems we will have that require being fixed in a timely manner after release. If they can't or don't want to fix it for the beta (when they have considerably more leeway) it instills no confidence that they will be able to do anything really when a problem is discovered in the release version of this game. Day 13 of the invalid glitch fiasco and no end in sight.
I call dibs on this game not being released until april 2013.... or rather playable until then with all the patching they will have to do. I'll lay further odds on this problem being a recurrent one throughout it's (the games) life cycle.
CCP I don't know if you are taking this one directly from the zipper handbook on how to deal with problems and players on a forum, but it seem so familiar to me I am having deja-vu post tramatic stress do the supposedly unfixable freeze problem that mag suffered thru the last year of its prime time life.
Maybe my statements are amusing to you, they are partially meant to be and to garner some sort of INFORMATION about the situation. |

I'm not attacking you, please understand that.
But you'll only see my corpse with a facebook account, and my first and last, as well as only tweet will be "I am dead".
I come here to the FORUMS for information, I don't understand why I then have to join another coffee clutch or go to ccp's hair salon in order to get information or gossip.... it is the way world is.... that is only because the majority have lost their nerve to stand up to the malarkey.
Anyone care to share the devs thoughts from irc with the rest of us concerning the In-valid fiasco.... |

Just be careful if you are still attempting to test.
A Hard Freeze - no buttons active, resulting in holding down the power button on the console to turn off the device, can result in the HDD reader heads not having the requisite airflow to float above the disk spinning inside the HDD, and will be actually scraping the top layer and damage it.
Then if you are constantly turning it completely off and on, how long do you think that product torture test will last for the power supply unit before the unit fails?
There is a reason why I do a ps3 to ps3 transfer of my data, monthly to my still working old ps3 phat (1 of 2)....because I have had a ps3 fail on me.
Yes, Sony sent me a slim but the movies I had bought (luckily it was a pittance, only 3 of them) were lost to the digital rights and no refunds....not like the back-up I made would work on a new ps3 (and would only work on the one that created it which sony didn't mention back then till i called up and asked why I am having trouble restoring the back up to the ps3 some 2 years ago, now) I am assuming sony harvested it to be like an organ donor for others they were able to repair-- since they said it couldn't be repaired.
