I was a beta tester for a little mod for BF2 called PoE(Point of Existence) and I can tell you now that people need to calm down.

It may seem like your voices are not being heard, but really it is. I'm sure that bug system they are using is supersaturated with bugs right now. They are NOT going to implement core gameplay issue fixes right now as there is WAAAAAAY to much they still have to put into the core game to test. People need to calm down and realize balancing will happen but you need to be patient and WAIT for it to happen. Keep noting when you run into issues. however, stop whining, crying, b1tching and complaining about the core issues you are seeing. They will get to it when they get to it.

While everyone complains about hit registering and crying whenever CCP moves forward without fixing this or that, CCP is trying to male sure EVE and Dust can exist together on the same server and interact. If they can't make that happen it doesn't matter how smooth it plays, it will be a failure because it doesn't deliver on the primary promise. This is why the Beta was pushed out so early, with several aspects and features in an obvious Alpha state. If the networking can't be worked out Dust dies regardless of anything else.

I don't think most players really are solely from EVE, I think it's probably a rather mixed community. Perhaps the majority of vocal testers are from EVE. Edit: Also, I feel that this is relevant.

I haven't played Eve myself but I always liked the look of the crazy depth and personalization, and Dust looks to be something similar. The biggest issue we'll face is Ps3 isn't exactly known as a Shooter console, now I don't intend or want to start a debate on 360 vs Ps3. The simple fact is to make this game successful we need to recruit everyone we can, regardless of console loyalty.

So am I testing and giving feed back, but when the basics of an fps are not getting the attention they should (shooting , aiming, hit detection) and repeated posts simply get the it's beta or the one I like best gtfo that gives people the right to whine as you put it. After so many builds the basics are still poor. Also what feed back do we get from ccp each week on these forums about our concerns ? Posts like this are part of the problem with this games advancement

See you all in game! These core issues are they to do with the combat aspect? Because they should have been priority a couple of builds ago as stated they have been told about this so many times it's getting silly and still nothing changes in this area all we get are some pretty graphic upgrades,

Thats why it was a grave mistake to had made the beta so 'access friendly' because the game in its current state, left a bad impression on alot of people who weren't expecting such a bare-bones experience.
